I wonder what's with the sudden surge of Dublin Villains?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Villa have always been a fairly well supported club in Ireland, United and Liverpool being the most supported with Arsenal after that.
It's really due to the number of Irish players who have represented these clubs over the years, that's the main reason for an Irish fan following an English club.
Like Villa had Paul McGrath and Steve Staunton playing for them, 2 ROI legends, Staunton and McGrath also played for Liverpool and united so you can begin to see the trend. Liam Brady for Arsenal etc.
I follow Liverpool mainly due to Ronnie Whelan who is from Dublin, not too far from where I grew up, he played for Ireland and Liverpool so I was drawn to Liverpool.
Also, just to point out, a football jersey looks awful on adults, goign to a game or playing football / gym then it's OK but to see a full grown man in jeans and a jersey just looks awful. I used to buy jerseys every year in my early 20's but not bought one for years now, never wear them to games, just my scarf and maybe a hat if it's winter. (no pants or anything just a hat and scarf)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And don't forget Dion Dublin.
Just proves there's more caaaants in London than I thought.
Are you not from London, DW?

I did buy a "You'll never crawl alone" onesie when my daughter was born and I collect vintage tops. I also have a huge mug that holds about a pint of tea and collect various bit of memorabilia.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I still have my old shirts somewhere. Le Coq Sportif yellow away 83-84
Which is predominantly Cheslea/Liverpool/Utd fans
Liverpool beadspreads are mandatory otherwise you're not a true scouser.

Bet they don't fit though anymore
I was 7 years old so probably not.
I got our last umbro shirt dirt cheap because it was due to change. Then we wore for an extra season and won the Prem
I'll keep that forever

I always buy Utd branded attire. Do not buy the kits but have t-shirts and boxers.
Both of my daughters (3yr old and 6 month) have Utd apparel as well
trendy stuff

Brightened my day Mudd. Got this image of you driving with your United themed seats in your car, with a United air freshener. You take out your mobile (sat in traffic, you're not mental!) and flip open the United themed case & put your phone's pin in. You swipe through a few screens of apps, each with a different United background.
Finally, you call the wife and tell her you've seen a fantastic scarf (United, of course) and you're getting it for her, as it's her birthday!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You forgot the Utd rug, sofa, mugs, cushions and bedding

My first shirt was the Sharp kit with the massive collar
http://cms.442.haymarketnetwork.com/contentimages/blog/ManchesterUnited.jpg
I was only young! I had all of the Vodafone ones I think. Definitely black, red (original & the one with the white stripy thing on the shoulder and the blue one.
Not bought one since - Though I did get a ridiculously good offer on the England one before the SA World Cup - got it from JJB or SD for about a tenner.

That was my second... first was the one with OT in the background and 'Theatre of Dreams' at the bottom.

Loved thosr Le Coq kits, mine was the vertical stripe one. The le coq in felt and wore off
Got the previous umbro kit from 1980. My fave
Diamonds down the sleeves? Long sleeves a must.
I had the England 86 full kit with white shorts. I was gutted when we wore those grotty light blue shorts instead.

I was the first kid round my way to get the England Euro '88 kit. Couple of weeks later it was put away, never to be seen again
I must admit one of my favourite past times is fúcking a beautiful woman dressed in my small crown paints top.
Is that weird?
Do you mean pastimes?
Or is it a cherished memory?

Yes. Especially whilst you make her wear an Ian Rush mask and take her up the arsenal.
