As I said he will be a good player but never a GREAT player.

As for midtable reference I consider anything between 6th and about 12th as midtable, which is where we are probably going to finish.

To me there is feck all between 7th and 11th its all much of a muchness.

Comparing Kane to Townsend is a bit ridiculous

Roque Santa Cruz, Demba Ba, Pappe Cisse, Michu

What do all of those players have in common?

They all had a great first year in the prem knocking in goals for fun

Are any of them great players?

Would you be in a big rush to sign any of those players for Spurs?

When Kane has been playing in the prem 3 or 4 years and if he is still knocking on goals at the rate he is now then he will be a great player until then he is a good player and if you cant see that then you really do need to open your eyes
