Gerrard is out of order. He is the club captain, whatever he thinks, he should save it until he is in the dressing room and keep it in there.
Said at beginning he should be with his team mates, not changed my mind.

I disagree. Saying it out in the public doesn't help. Sometimes we have to use our senses to do things using correct procedures.

There are ways to do things to avoid causing problems for your teammates/team. Stevie has clearly not followed this.

Henderson obviously wasn't that confident otherwise he would not have let that ball go and taken it himself

I always think in a workplace that as soon as an employee hands their notice in, they should leave immediately. Their mentality and attitude changes, and I think this applies to Stevie.
No way would he have stirred things up last year if the situation arose, because he is the club captain. His main job is getting the best from the team, and going on Tele saying Mario disrespected his captain does the opposite of that.

I don't think he needs to keep it to the dressing room. It's common sense that people should think the penalty should go to the player nominated beforehand, he's just confirming he believes that also. He as captain won't be happy that Mario took it from Jordan and he showed it.

Fair enough but in this era I've always been happy with professionals stating their true opinions. I don't think you can get away with the tired old routine answers anymore, hiding your true feelings. It makes you look stupid, a robot.

I've always felt people should be straight and honest and that's what I try to do myself.

People are different but I tend to like honest and straight people and not people who are rehearsed and fake.
