Will Chelsea fans stop bitching now?

Now I'm demanding...

And how many comments have I really made on it over this season? minimal.

So cute. let me know when you find anything.

Okay I can only assume you no longer believe there is a campaign against Chelsea...

Why else would you demand somebody find posts of yours stating there is?!

There simply is no logical reason otherwise, so well done Nick, it took a while but you are obviously far smarter than you come across...

You can't tell me you expect every incident to receive the same amount of coverage as every identical incident?! That's madness.

It has nothing to do with any anti-Chelsea bias, just certain players attract headlines. I should know, we had Suarez!

Suarez bites a player - hysteria. Defoe does it - nothing.

Suarez gives Fulham fans the finger, back page story and ban. Balotelli does it - nothing.

George Boyd spits at Joe Hart, small story. Evans and Cisse - headline news.

Do the media also have it in for Liverpool, Utd and Newcastle? Obviously not.

Gerrard's sending off was the big story. That and Mata's sensational goal. That's the rub.

The media have a duty to provide fair and equitable coverage of an incident. Sky Sports did not do this...........I have no idea for their reasons as to why and I am not bothered enough to speculate as to why, but the fact is they went from one end end of the spectrum with Costa straight to the opposite end of the spectrum with Skrtel and that ain't right.

SAF there was a campaign by Sir Alex Ferguson to bully referees and many referees caved in and gave wrong decisions in favour of United!Man U should have at least 4 less Premiership titles but sadly that cannot happen. And yes there is a campaign this season against Chelsea by the media and referees but still we will win Premiership! As for Nick he is one the best Chelsea posters on ja606 besides Superb and ifarka! So shame on you for insulting him!

I don't even know where to begin with this, or if I even should.......

Surely the campaign against Chelsea on the basis it has been stated here exists just as much if not more so against United under Fergie.

United player doing something wrong would always be huge news, even more so than a Liverpool player doing wrong. Did you maybe mean to say 4 titles more under Fergie if not for the campaign?

Because bad news about Chelsea is a big draw to the lowlife bitter haters. They hate us winning it's that simple.
I personally love it, makes winning even more fun.

Sky has a duty? Sorry but it's not the BBC, Sky has a duty to itself, its shareholders and regulatory bodies. It makes entertainment, not news.

Costa isn't the first to suffer from this (see my post above) and he won't be the last. Next time might be a chelsea player and it might not.

One thing I can guarantee you is that the more successful you are the greater the chances the focus will be on you. Why? Because sky is a business and mediocre doesn't sell.

In much the same way they love Jose, I can only assume he should have 4 less prem titles to his name as well

Costa is a very high profile player. Skrtel is not, really. If, say, Azpi had done what Costa did there wouldn't have been as much coverage about it.

This makes perfect sense to everyone apart from the Chelsea fans who believe there is an illuminati conspiracy against their club.

It's not like me to side with Liverpool fans, but some of you guys are bloody mental.

The Chelsea board on JA606 is a bit strange, they seem to have some great posters but they seem to attract some of the most insane people on the planet as well...

It is immediately obvious to anyone with even the slightest knowledge of football why Costa would be bigger news than Skrtel...

All clubs have fans that sometimes feel their teams get the bad rub from certain quarters and our fans are no different.

Why are some fans so concerned with the views of some Chelsea fans?

Is it that important to you? Do you feel the need to control or change everything in life that you disagree with? It must be exhausting if you do.

I think the media (SKY) do have a moral duty in a democracy for fair and equitable reporting........commercial interests may come into conflict and override that moral duty, but then if you subscribe to that then you must also subscribe to conspiracy theories.

.....................................................

The other clubs aren't telling themselves they are hard done by with enough regularity to annoy even their own supporters...

If Liverpool supporters or any other set of supporters started going on about campaign's against their club as much as Chelsea fans have been people would tell them what idiots they are being as well.

Much like there isn't a campaign against the Chelsea team, this isn't a campaign against the Chelsea fans.

TBH I have read it a few times and really can't understand what you are saying here, the first bit I get the second bit is a little bit unclear.

............................

I wouldn't say it is... I post on a huge variety of subjects related to football, for example we once had a topic on United players going to their annual team party (or whatever you call it) and I actually commented on what Buttner was wearing...

In terms of its importance to me its probably at around 0.00001/100 but a post is so easy and requires so little effort that I still make the post despite its lack of import.

Hell I just spent a few paragraphs talking about how I will post unimportant stuff!!

---------------------------------

Really not sure what the illuminati or conspiracy theory have to do with what we're talking about on this article though.

We're just dealing with plain and simple facts here. Not conspiracy which seems to be the insinuation by many here.

There is simply no getting away from the fact that Sky Sports said absolutely nothing about the Skrtel stamp after the game whereas they completely vilified Costa and demanded that he get a ban for commiting exactly the same offence as Skrtel.

Both incidents were exactly the same in that they were both stamps and neither were seen by the ref. So why does one of the incident become the football story of the day yet the other incident not even get mentioned once after the game?

So far I have yet to hear one decent explanation for this.

Superb the reason for it has been stated several times over....

Costa is bigger news than Skrtel.

Same reason you can remember that Rooney elbow on a Wigan player but have probably forgotten several worse challenges that happened more recently.

As a Liverpool fan said if that had been Azpi, little would have been made of it.

If that was Suarez last year, even more would have been made out of it.

News organisations are all about viewing figures, bigger stories attract more viewers.

Rooney, Suarez and Costa are far bigger news than Skrtel, Azpi and say Smalling.

So they didn't make as much out of it because the stamp was against a United player?

Well seems we are as hard done by as Chelsea....
