Kane already showing some great dribbling there.

Lexington Sanchez 125.2

Couple of those shots that hit the woodwork would definitely have gone in had they come from Kane.

He's quite the jammy after all.

Yeh he has a jammy 29 goals this season. I can see where your coming from.

Hope he bring off Welbeck.

England need to keep their main man fresh for the crucial match on Tuesday.

Should add that I do think that Barkley is a good player.

Haven't been this excited since Andros Townsend made his England debut.

I reckon Harry will score a couple tonight, whether he starts or comes off the bench.

He's scored one so far! Question is, should he replace Danny Welbeck in the next competitive international?

Answer is:

No

Most neutral observers know who was the best England player in last two qualifiers for 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Be interesting to see whether Kane and Rooney can play together. Even more interesting will be, if they can't, whether Roy would have the balls to drop Rooney...

Francis Jeffers scored on his England debut too...

Franny scored when Rooney couldnt

does that mean anything

Of course he should Danny Welbeck is your typical flat track gooner, when it comes to the big games in the actual tournament he will go missing like Arsenal do in the CL.

Bottom line is we know England have been a catastrophic failure with both Rooney and Welbeck at tournaments, so time for both to step aside and let Kane take over. Tonight`s opposition have to be the worse ever team to play at Wembley, even teams like San Marino put up more of a fight. Any decent team should have scored double figures tonight.

Kane talks like he's got his tongue stuck to the inside of his freezer.

Reading your article I think you have to remember Kane's age and the expectation on him therefore easing him into the national team makes sense in the long run... For example if he started and had a jittery start it's not like the national media in this country show much mercy... Now he has scored so early he will be ready to fly...

THE ACE FACE

Seriously what's the point of putting England in that group; might as well just put us through and let all the farmers and goat herders fight it out for the other spot.

I know Ace, the teams in that group are fecking awful. The way the pundits are going on about Welbeck scoring six goals in the group. FFS any decent striker would have a dozen goals minimum.

But Hodgson will throw him to the lions in Italy midweek. Makes no sense. Tonight was the perfect time to start him, not against a useful Italy side away midweek.

@Ace Face they put England in that group because most of the time they play like Farmers & Goat herders too
