I guess thats the thing, stats only tell part of the story. You can have a CB pairing of Maldini & Heirro, but they still couldn't stop a shot like Edman's going in. We beat WBA 3-0 but our CB partnership was woeful and Lloris was our MOTM.

Totally agree. Stats are good to get an overview of what is happening but they do not tell the full story - not by far.

I agree that Townsend was extremely poor on Saturday. I've never seen Kane look so uninterested - Bentaleb, Eriksen, Chadli, all in really bad form too.
