lost a few quids, but for some drunk women walking on their bare foot in epsom at the end of the race cheered me up
Derby Day
American Pharoah is also going for the triple crown in America tonight for anyone interested, would be some feat.
Done a Lucky 15:-
1.10 Muss. Song of Norway 5/2
1.40 Muss. Echo of Lightning 13/8
2.00 Eps. Stravagante 11/4
4.30 Eps. Golden Horn 7/4.
£1 Lucky 15 (£15 stake) returns £289.56
Good call on Stravagante, commanding performance.

Can't see past Golden Horn tomorrow. Won going away from his main rivals in the Dante, and that race is usually a good marker for the Derby.
Outsider is Storm the Stars. Trainer in good form and horse related to Sea the Stars..... 20/1.

You won't get a better tip than that
spot on term.
Not the greatest couple of days for me betting wise. Have to make it back at Royal Ascot.

£7.60 forecast, you are kidding me.. That was the bet.

It's not that easy though, hindsight or not. For example, how many flat classics do you get where one O'Brien horse isn't at least placed? He had the 50/1 yesterday, impossible to pick.....
Having backed outsiders all day, expect for the one at 4:30 yesterday's race, I decided to play it safe, so I backed the hot favorite "Legatissimo" who by the way is yet to finish the race
Off course "Qualify" an outsider at 50/1 won this race !
Lega got pipped on the line by the 50-1 shot, hardly a bad bet miles better than the rest. Just met a horse that completely fluked the run of his life and more, simply unbelievable really.

Off course, I had Lega to win it rather e/w, so put all my cash on him, in an attempt to crawl mefself back to break even position
That horse is dead to me
It was not all negative though, on our way back to London, we stopped by a pub opposite the Morden underground station called "Tanleys" for a grab ! Jeez the dishes served there was the biggest I have ever come across anywhere else and at reasonable price too! I mean their Irish stew dish was facking huge !!
Sorry the pub was called "Ganley's"
That's horse racing for you. Ive had greater frustrations in the sport. Annie Power just a couple months ago was the real one that got me.
