Agree pundit, said it was between us, Brentford and Ipswich for the final spot in about December, I haven't changed my mind.

Right now I think Brentford just shade it.

Fairly even first half but Birmingham were better than us after the break and were deserved winners. I thought Ikeme was fouled for their first goal and Golborne at fault for the second. Dicko did great setting Afobe up for our goal but I thought both of them were below par overall today, and I am surprised Edwards wasn't used in the last 20 minutes.

Overall we looked a bit unbalanced with Henry playing centrally meaning we had nothing on the right until RVLP coming on and doing quite well late on. But Sako apart we weren't a great threat after the break.

Disappointing to lose to a workmanlike team although I thought Fabbrini looked decent and Gray did well when he switched to the right after getting nothing out of Iorfa on the left.

But we are only one point off 5th so plenty to play for and the last two games would be easy points if those teams are already relegated by then.

Have to disagree about RVLP. I thought he was abysmal. Wasted several decent positions with poor delivery and ducked out of a couple of challenges.

We were out battled in midfield today. Fabbrini was dropping into space between our back four and midfield and wasn't picked up.

Thought that we should have brought Edwards on for Dicko or Afobe early in second half.

Goodness knows why Edwards wasn't brought on on or around the 70 minute mark. We can forget goal difference and should have gone for at least salvaging a point.

Ha, just lumped big on Velez sarsfield to be winning at half time.

The reason? The game isn't supposed to kick off til 3pm but kicked off at 1pm.

Kenny Jackett again pointing to the fact that we were poor at defending again. 5 goals in two games he says, which is why we need to strengthen the defence for next season, no matter what league we're in.

For me, never like losing, but we're still doing much better than I anticipated this season.

Wolves fans were a disgrace today - hundreds of them had to rounded up outside the bullring after running amok with many causing grief to the homosexual community. Hearing reports of them just setting upon easy targets who have nothing to do with football, let alone hooliganism.

Blues fans were no better after the match - scrapping down Broad St right now, with Villa Hoolies joining in.

Got caught up in a mini riot after the game today involving about 200 a side with baton wielding police trying and failing to keep them apart. Entertaining and quite scary at times. Football hooliganism is alive and well at matches of this nature
