Not sure why Kenny didn't at least try something, Jacobs with a bit more trickery might have been useful, Edwards if lumping it in the box, Doyle if, well, Doyle if, ummmm, Doyle if we were looking to hold a point.
I would have taken a point at half time, but I don't think you would have
how much d'ya make off the bookies sat night cinci ?
I think you have to give Gray some credit. He chased Golbourne down, harried him into a mistake without fouling him and had the composure to score the goal.
On the other hand, how a player with Kmacs quality can muster up that pathetic "attempt on goal" is beyond me. Kmac should be into double figures for goal scoring but has no composure in front of goal at all.

Nowt worked yesterday Wolfgang.
Saturday was a nice profit on a bookies mistake plus another win.
Had a good month back in the game actually.
Started with 100 bucks, up to around 1800 bucks.
Though the error gave me 500+
I should add that the initial 100 did not start well.
I am sure the run won't continue this well
Any neutral fan reading comments on here this morning would think we're in a relegation battle right now. According to most, we didn't deserve to win, so put it down to a bad day at the office.
All the what if this and what if that, only appears on here after a defeat. We made three bad mistakes against Leeds, but because we won, not much is said.
I've said all along that we need to strengthen our defence in the summer and still maintain that stance. Two more defensive errors which is now 5 in two matches. It seems KJ has been stating this all season.
Iorfa seems to be the only shining light of late in defence.
I have never known anyone try to prove that they are right as much as you, Wolfie.
Our defence has been one of the best in the division, that is a fact.
We maybe could do with one addition, but even then our first 6 options would be hard to beat.
With all the crap I get on here from posters telling me how wrong I am tam, I think I have a right to defend my opinions, don't you? Especially when our own manager keeps referring to costly mistakes all the time.
I think the reason you get crap is because of posts like the above - something you have done for as long as I have been reading these forums (back to the BBC 606 days).
Perhaps if you showed a bit more humility, people wouldn't be so quick to jump on you when you are wrong which, contrary to your own opinion, happens as frequently as it does with everyone else on this forum. With the exception of me of course.

wow, look to improve the team. never thought of that
We should be grateful it wasn't Stearman with either of those errors
I'm surprised I didn't see him blame Stearman when McDonald cannoned the ball into him for the first goal at Leeds to be honest.
I’m really surprised to hear Sunshine calling for Golbourne, Batth and McDonald to be replaced I thought he rated all three of them.

'Well done Leon'
Google / ja606 / wolfieintheshunshinestate / no striker required / we never concede goals / ten gallon hat / blithering idiot
Everybody has gone off on a search
I admired Golbourne's honesty in that interview, where he held his hands up, (metaphorically - on camera at least), and accepted that he'd done poorly.
I think we all know what would have happened had Stearman made the boo boo, (and it wouldn't have just been a banjo hurled at drifting tumbleweed, together with various expletives, from a distant porch.
wouldnt have to go as far as usa for an apopleptic reaction, the outer reaches of wolvo would give you that
Of the four individual errors we have seen recently Stearman’s was the least serious as it was “only” poor execution while the other three were poor decision making AND poor execution.
He was at least trying to do the right thing while Batth, McDonald & Golbourne were trying to do the wrong thing anyway and then compounded bad decision making with poor execution.
Let's hope boro are cagey and we pick up at least a point Tuesday.
I fear we will finish a point shy.

Not conceding is a major factor too and at last we seem to have a defence that's doing very well. I think that's mainly due to the way KJ sets out to play his preferred system.

Looking at the run ins of all involved I think we could afford to drop 5 points at most from our last five games.
Three dropped in the first of those five so we need at least a draw against Boro is my guess otherwise start planning for next season.
