Tam, I don't give a rat's ass what people on here think of me or what I write. If it's controversial and posters don't like it, tough titty.

I find it more nauseating when I read certain posters brown nosing each other and slapping each other on the back.

I'll post comments and opinion as I see them at the time and always have done. If those opinions change, so what.

Which really begs the question why does he bother to write on ‘ere at all?

If he doesn’t care what anyone else writes and he doesn’t care what other people think about what he writes why doesn’t he do us all a favour and sit in a corner mumbling his shíte to himself and give us all a break?

Bute, my opinion of Stearman won't change. He's not good enough for the Premier League and neither is Edwards. (Remember Leeds' 3rd goal, cough, cough). Both I hope will move on when their contracts run out next season. So for me at least 1 more CB and LB in the summer. Incidentally, we should never have let go of Friend, (a player who got a lot of stick from certain posters on 'ere, but I always defended him) who incidentally is probably the best LB in the Championship right now.

I'm sure my filtered friend is having a field day today, by the looks of it.

Let's hope boro are cagey and we pick up at least a point Tuesday.

I fear we will finish a point shy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Looking at the run ins of all involved I think we could afford to drop 5 points at most from our last five games.
Three dropped in the first of those five so we need at least a draw against Boro is my guess otherwise start planning for next season.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Agree completely.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see us go back to 4-2-3-1 with a recall for Edwards and Dicko down to the bench.

I love the way we have been playing in a 4-4-2 but we do tend to concede the midfield a bit and it’s an area where Boro are pretty strong.

Might see Hause back in for Golbourne as well, not as potent going forward but more solid in defence and it means Sako can concentrate on going forward not covering Golbourne’s runs.

None of the players you've mentioned, including Friend, are playing in the Premier League, so what is your point?

posted on 13/4/15

Yeah could see those changes for a tough well organized boro tats.

posted on 13/4/15

I'm staying out of it.

Except to say that we will smash Boro

And therein lies your problem. You are too narrow minded to change your mind on anything. For example, say we have player who you don't like who is having a brilliant season and had probably been our best player in his position (cough, cough Stearman). Despite him being our best player, you will still jump on one mistake as if to justify your opinion. It's quite sad really. You must be really insecure.

I didn't say people don't like what you say because it's controversial. If you don't care, why do you need to keep hammering in that you think you're right on something? Surely it doesn't matter.

I would agree with you tatter. I would pick Hause ahead of Golborne, and Edwards ahead of Dicko. Pretty equal call between Henry and Van La Parra who are about as inconsistent as each other.

Tam. I've seen Stearman play in the Premier League, so I can judge him by what I've seen. Last season we were in the third tier, so I'd expect him to be a decent CB. Likewise this season and as I've stated on more than one occasion, HE'S DECENT AT THIS LEVEL.

However, if we were to go up, I'd be looking to get in a better player. What the heck is wrong with that opinion. Also ask yourself this. How many on here would start him as CB were we to go up? Most would have him as a squad player but his contract will be up next season, so maybe he'll move on anyway.

Watching some cricket right now. The first test between West Indies and England and saw a "Gloucester Wolves" flag and the wolf logo. Great stuff.

I guess Herbie is glued to his radio right now.

Nothing is wrong with that opinion other than it being ill-informed and solely based on your need to be right. You are basically saying you have judged a player based on what you saw four years ago when he was 23 and he was mainly played out of position at right back. He obviously can't have improved as a player since then.

I would have no problem with him starting centre back should we be promoted. I will be pretty agree if he isn't offered a new deal at the end of this one. Particuarly as he has been player of the season for me this year. I'm sure he isn't player of the season for you though, because you saw him play in the premier league four years ago.

I saw Stearman against Brentford and he was outstanding.

Anyway, we know Wolfie's opinions are inflexible, and ultimately, no one gives them any credence, knowing where they come from, so maybe we're frothing at the mouth unnecessarily. Ignore them for what they are.

Perton put up a player of season thread, is everyone banned?

Stearman for me.

And biggest impact goes to Afobe or Price or Iorfa.

None having played enough for the main award.

I think wolfie has a point...........I mean, if he was any good Mick would have come in for him.......yes ?

Clark backs Mick to go up. Hopefully it'll be us and not them.

Player of the season would be Afobe, but as Cinci says, he's not been here long enough. It'll probably go to Sako, but Stearman got my vote too.

Is it me or does Clark sound a little dumb?

He has done it MANY, MANY times????

Thats twice Lee, not many, many

By Saturday evening things will be much clearer thats for sure, my money would be on Brentford and Derby at this point to round out the top 6 sadly

Bookies don't seem to be able to split us, Brentford and Ipswich.

They have Derby as in quite safely.

Us 3 are from 8-10/1

He's only won the Championship outright twice, but I think Clark was talking about getting a team spirit going when he said many, many times. It precluded the rest of his quote, which was: "He’s done it many, many times with different clubs. He gets a group of players who are honest, work extremely hard and give absolutely everything for the jersey. I think they’ve got a really good chance."
