What's this the suck off Arsenal thread? FFS they may be fecking better, but you don't have to have an article put on the Spurs board telling them they are. My old man would be turning in his grave if he could read this nonsense.
That Tottenham win all but ended Arsenal hopes of title like Swansea did for man utd.

Its not the suck off Arsenal thread its the Arsenal are annoying thread because like every season we have a glimmer of hope of finishing above them and then they go on some crazy winning run and leave us behind.
In recent years we have finished above Man C, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man U, the only one we can never finish above is that lot down the road and it does my head in and as have had an opportunity every season the last few years before us bottling it and them powering on at the business end.
They spend around £60m more than us a season on wages alone, they should be doing better than Spurs as they can attract better players with the wages they can offer
You had plenty of chances to finish abpve Arsenal.

It does my head in the way the media and a lot of supporters think Arsenal are operating on some kind of shoestring budget, and that Spurs should be their equals. Arsenal have spent a lot of money, and their wage bill absolutely dwarfs Spurs. So not really sure why everybody is surprised. Football is about money and the guess what the four richest clubs are filling the top four places in the prem.

Well Sandy....Spurs had the chance before with the Bale millions.

Arsenal have had a weak period for almost a decade. Spurs had a great squad a few years ago. Were you up there insisting they don't waste that opportunity? No. You only have yourself to blame.

Absolute bollox to say Arsenal have had a weak period for a decade, they have had the cash cow advantage of the CL during the whole of that period, and are in the top three or four high wage payers in the prem over the same period. They have massively underachieved over the 10 year period, and are still massively underachieving, despite using the excuse of the new stadium, which is nearly 10 years old now. They are no nearer winning the prem or the CL than they were 10 years back. One FA Cup win in 10 years is a shocking return for the massive financial advantage they have over all bar a couple of clubs.
In the financial league which governs the Premiership ,we are fourth richest club if we finish the season in second or third place we will have over achieved, whereas Tottenham who are probably the fifth richest club look like underachieving, although this could be a result of the disastrous waste of the Bale transfer money.
Tottenham should focus on getting a squad to win europa league. Then you get CL.

Your post didn't disagree with Arsenal being weak. You were something like 12 points ahead of them at one stage. Fans got complacent, starting talking about "minding the gap" etc. Translated onto the pitch. Counted chickens before they hatched and soon enough you were reaping what you sowed.
Had you been up there urging the team to keep concentrating, it would have been a different story.
Like I say you only have yourself to blame

Frankly finishing above Arsenal does not bother me, I am old enough to have seen that happen lots of time. I think the Arsenal supporters seem to think more of that, even having a day to celebrate it I think. Those sort of silly goings on are best left to teenage adolescents.
