The German Dortmund fans I follow think they are very reliable, more than Bild and SportBild. They're based near Dortmund.

United don't do cheap deals for players in the last year of their contract.

What is it in quids anyway? Pound to Euro is really strong at the moment.

Also, I am hoping it's true because it would mean moving for Hummels would be unlikely. I doubt Dortmund will sell us two of their stars in one window, and the rumours have died down in the last few days.

Yeah it's £21m, the Euro is flopping big time. Great news for english clubs shopping in Europe.

Yes that's the story I referred to in the OP last night where WAZ report we are close to signing him.

He's definitely worth a punt, although 22 mil is overpriced considering the circumstances. I just hope we don't put all our eggs in one basket. Gundogan + 1 (Schneiderlin) would be fantastic

Sebastian Wessling, one of the most reliable Dortmund journalists, wrote on Twitter that according to their information the deal is done for €30m. He's probably in the top 3 for Dortmund news.

Regardless, I would really be more excited if more outlets were reporting this. Ruhr Nachriten for example, who are a Dortmund based outlet that report everything reliably about the club. They broke the Klopp resignation first.
