Give him number four as that was Hargreaves' number.

@UtdReport: #mufc are big favourites to sign Memphis Depay. Player prefers PL + CL. Van Gaal has a lot of confidence in Depay. [vi]

Ruhr Nachrichten are quoting Zorc saying "he can't confirm" today's done deal reports but also expect Gündogan to leave. #BVB #LRT

So how long until he gets his first injury?

I'm going for last weekend of September.

At least it'll look like Van Gaal will leave the squad in good shape when he goes - both in terms of quality and age.

Gundogan will fill in the Carrick role if both Carrick and Blind are injured.

However there will be a point no doubt all 3 are injured

I'm gonna say on his debut in February, after getting injured in pre season training.

This is a gamble. But if he can get to being 70-80% he was this will prove to be a fantastic buy. He has it all and can play any role in midfield. With a proper pre-season under his belt, next season he should be much better than what we have seen from him thus far.

Has anyone watched a lot of him this season btw? I've heard he's getting back to top form, but Dortmund have been relying on him heavily this season due to their bad form this year

Back injuries are really hard to shake off too, Rio used to suffer from them quite a bit.

I'm gonna go with he'll never play for us, his spine will fall out on the U.S. Tour

Precisely, Top Lad.

I think though Van Gaal will obviously want immediate results I think he'll want to leave a team that has the profile to either continue, if he indeed achieves it, or go on to have success after he leaves.

Wow...great news. If he can get anywhere near to 2012/2013 form, that is 20 million well spent. Read Deapy is close as well.....

Agreed, but I have faith in LVG, he seems to be building a very good side, one that can compete on all levels
