I do like you at times Chronic. I remember some dumb spurs fan yesterday on the match thread blaming Levy for signing X & Y, despite the fact that this is all Baldini's fault.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I am often misunderstood on here. Some people think I defend levy whenever. I don't. I criticise him when he messed up. But he seems to take the blame for everything bad but doesn't get credit for good things

I maintain that we are lucky to have him - there are so many chairman out there that put their club in trouble

He is doing well to keep us competitive at a tough time for us. In a football world where money is everything , we are at a disadvataged with the man city's of this world about

After Liverpool dropped we were next in line for the CL places until city became billionaires out of nowhere.

We would have probably been an established CL side by now had that never have happened

Sometimes things are out your control

I think we are completely agreed here.

People seem to think that we can magic funds out of thin air and spend to compete with the best. Yet seemingly forget that teams that have done that (Blackburn, Leeds) couldn't sustain it. VERY short memories.

Levy has his faults, he is too trigger happy when it comes to managers, selects the wrong managers and this whole DOF/no DOF cycle is pretty poor. He also probably should spend the extra 2/3m to guarantee a player early doors than haggle for a lowly amount. Yet if he didn't haggle then people may see him as a pushover, also we never really know whats going on behind the scenes, transfers can be really tough.

yeah. hes definitely not perfect.

that said, the spurs fans that want levy to go make me laugh. muppets. all of them. half way through a massive stadium building project, they want the chairman who is driving all that to leave.

fair play though, spurs fans definitely keep me amused.

No ACE, not at all but. I listen most weeks and watch when I get the link. I was pointing out the difference between the opinions of the play of the posters on this site, I take NO notice of yours or anybody's opinions on here, about Spurs or otherwise.

Bill and I have parted company so the laugh's on you. I come on the forum in the hope that I might learn something new but reading your posts, that's a forlorn hope.
