Ultimately it's all about what striker/s we can get in the summer.
We have the bulk of a good team but at the moment it all falls down in the final 3rd.
Mignolet is top of the clean sheets table with 13 in 30 games, so in general we are now defending well as a team.
If you can't score goals when you have chances then it makes every game so difficult.
Rodgers has a pretty bad ratio on striker signings so far.
Borini, Aspas, Lambert, Sturridge, Balotelli.
Only Sturridge has been anything like a success.
Origi and whoever else we buy need to improve that ratio or he is gone.

If we won today, maybe. As it is, I doubt they will drop enough points to make up the difference. A goal today would've meant we could potentially be 2 points behind them after their game in hand.
Oh no
Spoke too soon
Season were again
Wouldn't get rid of Rodgers but FSG have to change their transfer policy for at least 2-3 seasons
Bring I'm some experience
Origi will not get the goals we require next season, I will be surprised if he gets into double figures. He is extremely raw and hasn't progressed this year in the way we wanted.
We need one very good striker this summer and also one who can cover whilst starting the odd game. As I've said previously Benteke would be my choice.

We should definitely not put our hopes onto Origi
He needs to develop and settle
Get Benteke in already!

As which? I'd like us to aim a bit higher. Pretty extensively linked with Higuain. There are better attackers around that Benteke, who last month or so aside, has been average for a long while.
igor, I'd like to think that run of lean form coincided with a team playing awfully under a poor manager. Benteke is an excellent player and his aerial threat will offer us a more direct threat and another option of playing. Put him in a good side he will score plenty of goals. Proven in the league as well which is a struggle for many foreign strikers when they arrive.
I fail to see who else that's better we could realistically sign. Few teams outside the top four have anyone of real quality. As for Higuain and co, dream on.
Don't give up on 4th,i'm pretty sure next year will be the 4th that you have won nowt.20.

I wouldn't say dream on. f he money is right, I don't think it's beyond the realms of possiblity. Look at United last year. Di Maria, Falcao etc.
Of course, it's all dependant on what happens elsewhere. The European Heavyweight clubs often sign the flavour of the month leaving others in the cold. Napoli's situation is unsure, with Higuain and Benitez both looking likely to move on. And Mandzukic looks to have fallen out with Simeone at atletico.
The players are out there, it's whether we have the presentation and offer the right package to them.
Seen enough now, was at the game against Man U and paid the earth to watch the pantomime against Villa last week.
------
No you weren't, and no you didn't.
Semi final tickets were £55
About the same as a premier league ticket. So you're blagging.
Please Keep him - like he said there is no one better to manage LIverpool and we all agree
Brendan Rodgers is the best manager (presumably in the world) for Liverpool.
We know this because he said so himself.
All he needs is 'the right tools'.
By that, he means another £150m

All you need to ask is are you progressing under him?
I'd discount hodgsons tenure as it was so disastrous you couldn't compare it with what went before, with Benitez or Houllier you were always round about top 4 and maybe throw in a trophy, even Dalglish managed a cup I think.
Next season if rodgers doesn't deliver silverware or a top 4 berth I've no doubt he'll be gone, good runs for parts of a season are only good if you have something to show for it, no matter how good you play during that spell

How do you know how much I paid for the semi-final tickets ?
Unless you were one of the ones lucky enough to have enough games on their membership AND called into the Ticket line in time you would have paid over the odds for tickets. I had enough games and according to the LFC.TV site I was 'guaranteed' tickets I fell short as they were sold to others. So... keen to support my team as ever I went to KIX and paid £252 per ticket (well worth it then, and I would still pay it again) and bought two of them.
So don't tell me what I did or didn't pay... you numpty.
See, I accuse lots of people on here of Wumming, because I can't imagine a supporter being so negative.
People like OP, Kash, TVJ, Shortlight etc. just seem way too negative, only posting when we're having a bad day, to possibly be real supporters.
I mean, if you really get this little enjoyment out of something, find another hobby. You've gotta take the good times with the bad, and if the bad is all you focus on, what's the point?
But then, I guess some people are happiest when they can moan and be miserable.
Who is gonna replace Rogers then
U think Klopp
Why would he go to an irrelevant Europa league club ?
He'll go to city and you will be stuck with clueless Rogers
You guys have simply got to come to terms with the fact that you are on Tottenhams, level forget about the big boys. Your just not good enough

guaranteed tickets and calling into the ticket line and Lfc.tv .. that's what you said right?
A few things..
Tickets were still on sale for those that had 2 fa cup matches on their membership. That's what I had, even though I was not in the "guaranteed tickets" allocation I got them due to availability.. Yes tickets were available. So that's blag number one. If you were guaranteed tickets you would have got them.
As for the calling the ticket line - that's blag number two, you had to get them online.
It's liverpoolfc.com and has been for years. - that's blag number 3
You're a blagger, a charlatan, and found out.
