Yes, yes and yes.
I just feel we're closer than those teams mentioned (and so we should be in reference to what you said granted) but we're talking about one good, fit , striker. The patterns of play are good, although not confident atm, the defence seems better, the youth have progressed.
Looking up, rather than down, the teams are buying from a position of strength. We've seen enough positives to let him see it out but I guess I'm saying the mitigating circumstances hold more weight we with than maybe you.
It would not surprise me one bit if they sacked him though.
I'm not really 'Rodgers out'.
It's more the fact that Klopp is available.
Honigstein (respected German journo) thinks Klopp would find it hard to turn us down if we approached him because of the type of city and club Liverpool is. It's a fit for Klopp and his mentality.
This is a young manager with a lot more on his CV who will help attract players and bring big profile to us when we need it with not being in the CL and not having many high profile players left. He's got a great record with young players and plays attacking football.
If Klopp wasn't out there then I would still be disappointed with this season but I wouldn't necessarily be advocating change.
The fact he is tips it for me.
We might not get another chance to get a manager of Klopps quality in.
It might not work out, but then Rodgers might not either and by the time we sack him Klopp won't be available and our options may be less appealing.
Something weird happens to managers at Liverpool. They come in and initially do well. Then they go mental, make mad signings and want complete autonomy over everything.
Do the fans play a role by deifying the managers too early?
Interesting reading, some excellent points made from both sides..
Sacking Rodgers at this juncture would be premature . Other than the signings he has done enough over the last three seasons to deserve another season.
The club's above us are operating from a position of strength in terms of financial muscle.
Recruitment of players will be more focused in the summer. However I do have concerns over the club's policy of incentive heavy contracts. This might have a negative effect when competing for quality players.

I'm not so sure.
The Shankly/Rodgers stuff last season was pretty cringe worthy really.
Rafa was made a god after 1 season. A season with an extraordinary cup achievement but far too early nonetheless.
"In the context of this article I think they scored more goals and assists by virtue of their manager knowing what he is doing. "
their own supporters thought he was clueless and misusing his players up until a month ago when he accidentally stumbled on the right formation.
Their own supporters thought they were scoring in spite of the manager, not because of him.
We have had similar problems to United. Difference is they sorted themselves out, we did not. Bottom line is LVG has got them top 4 in his first season. Rodgers was 8th in his first season and he even reminded LVG this league was different only to see LVG disappearing over the fourth place horizon in his first ever season in English football with a team heavily in transition. Whereas Rodgers has been in the English game over a decade and spent four years in the league. United will most likely be better next season so I can only see 5th again.
At this moment it's hard to see us finishing above any of the top 4 next season.
Things can change quickly, but right now you would say Arsenal have a very solid squad with mega depth and experience.
Chelsea will never drop out with Mourinho, no chance.
Utd you would expect to get better from here. Be different for them without expectation and Europe, but with the experience and money they have you can't really see them dropping out again soon.
City, despite being champions only a year ago, are probably the most likely droppers, purely because their team is at the end of its cycle, they will have a lot of change this summer, and so that transition makes them more vulnerable.
Things can look different in just a few months, but right now top 4 looks miles away.
We need to go for the Europa then I feel. I think we can handle European football easily enough but not coupled with long domestic cup runs.
I thought we should have gone for the Europa this season too.
We prioritised domestic success and failed.
We may well have failed in Europe of course, it's easy with hindsight, but it's far fewer good performances needed in a single cup run.
Depay to Man U.
Brendan offers nothing to attract established talent.
Klopp would... at least he has a reputation.
Brendan in, why buy Depay when he has Borini after a season long rest to recharge his batteries!

Brendan out...
