Massive Poch fan and I'd give him a 6.

Lets just remember ( and hope ) this is the very beginning of his Spurs career and he's just been clearing the site and starting building the foundations.

Next season is where we need to see a marked more consistent improvement in the team and for him to start fully implementing his ideas.

Your mark and the fact that you are a massive fan of MP's tells me that its a well thought out mark most big fans would have given him a 10 for reaching a final and attempted to justify the mark on behalf of that one final

Grand

Definitely only the beginning and lots of work ahead to go but hopefully the club is going to have a bit of stability for a change

What do people exactly expect from MP and a squad that's ever changing. 5th at best

grumpyspurs how can a 5 be too much???????????

so you are basically saying for poch to get an AVERAGE mark this season he had to get top 4 OR win a cup OR both?????

seems a bit harsh????!

No I am not saying that at all, in another season he could have got a 9 and not reached a cup final and have finished 7th. It would have depended totally on performances and progress.

The season just gone out of 38 league games we looked really good twice, thats all twice. About 8 games we looked good (not really good) that leaves 28 games where we looked bang average or ridiculously poor that earns a 5 for me.

Cups? Ok we reached a final and played nobody along the way until we met chelsea who made us look distinctly average. We went out of the FA Cup to a side who were bottom of the league at the time and who fielded a weakened side. ON OUR OWN DAMNED PATCH AT THAT.

We lost at least 7 or 8 games to teams who finished below us in the league not to mention numerous draws.
We got hammered at home by a very average pool team, shall I go on?????? Because I can give god knows how many examles of abysmal performances throughout the season. Newcastle, yes newcastle a team that were getting slaughtered by everybody for just how bad they were this season. How did they get on at WHL?

As I said disregard the league table and take note of what you see with your own eyes

Thats why I consider 5 a high mark for this season. I dont look at a league table, I dont think of a cup final, I use my eyes.

Even yesterday after a great first half what happens in the last 15 minutes. Kane off, Townsend on? No striker on the pitch whatsoever, inviting pressure on us. Obviously he eventually realised because he put a striker on to relieve pressure.

Utd away, a tactical sub after something like 18 minutes????????? Does that not indicate that he got it badly wrong with the side he originally sent out?

Add it all up and if you think he is worth a 7 on behalf of finishing 5th then so be it but not in my eyes. As I already highlighted stats and figures can deceive, peoples eyes dont, unless they are yours of course

BTW you must have also been raving about chelsea the year they won the CL?

I mean their name is on the trophy, they won it fair and square.

That must make Di Matteo a 10 out of 10 manager dont you think? I mean that is the biggest thing a prem manager can win after all said and done.

Are you prepared to conceed that by your criteria that Di Matteo is a 10 out of 10 manager?

I mean in his first 3 months at chelsea, he slammed us in an FA Cup Semi, he won the CL. Wow he must be some manager considering the mess AVB left him with at chelsea
