We have two options.
1) Some some intent with names in the transfer market which will show we mean business and help convince him to stay.
2) Accept we can't do the above in which case we may as well sell him now while he holds high value.
All in all whatever you think of Sterling it's very bad for the club to have its best young talent wanting to leave.
There is no way we can compete at the top level if we keep selling our best players.
5th place could quickly turn into 8th or worse.
Bet you're desperate to keep hold of Lambert now gonna be a nervous summer.
hope he goes abroad, he might become good then
Thank god! Get this overrated little cun t out of my club
So there was a problem all along then. Most Liverpool fans on here kept on saying its the media creating stories and that the contract will be signed in the summer because Sterling wants to focus on his football. The media is not always wrong

Still not getting £40 mil for him.

Yeah but, no but
Love all the liverpool fans making out this is a good thing yes he's been a bit pants this season but he's still another quakity player you are selling. He will be a big Loss to you regardless of how you try to mask it
Shame really, but hardly surprising. Despite not haveing a great few months recently, he is definitely a potential star in the making. Its kind of the reality we face as a club now. A great sized club, just not in the upper echelons.
It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. Hold on to him and we risk losing him for next to nothing and see the fans turn on him (although hoping he gets hurt is a bit childish).
Or sell him to the highest bidder and hope they are overseas.
The way this story has come out makes you think it has to have been leaked by someone in his team. Tyhe relationship is toxic and I can;t see the point in keepign him for next year.
Gerrard : "The danger for younger players is they want it all too soon and go to another club and just become a number."
Kaisers come on. Most on here were in denial except a select few about what was really going on. Heads buried in the sand over this saga. Making it out to be some rift between Sterling's management that was the reason for no contract being signed
We had to suck it up with Rooney and we ended up winning the title with him.

Why nervous? It's going to be interesting but not nervous. We will only let him go on our terms. Even if he does go, it's not the end of the world. A hefty wedge and we can find someone who actually wants to play for us. Bolasie has been mentioned, we could easily afford him with the money we get for Sterling.

Yep, after his poor performances and this the fans are gonna turn.
Different to Suarez, who was brilliant before so a lot more easily forgiven.
Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero has confirmed his club's interest in Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli.
Looks like its going to be another busy summer

Oh pull the other one got_better FFS!!! Sterling was the best thing since sliced bread according to you before all this turmoil. Just face the truth that you are losing a quality player. Us Spurs fans don't find it hard to admit when we lose Quality so why you are so in denial

I'd get that dyslexia seen to if I were you mate. From what I can see, people are not saying it's a good thing. They saying he's something of a twàt, and don't care if he leaves. Big difference.
