How can Brendan lose the dressing room when you were challenging the league only last season? That's ridiculous

I'm not sure there is anything wrong with Sterlings attitude. He trains well, and probably the most hardworking playing up front for Liverpool. Always runs hard. Makes mistakes like all 20 year olds should.
He is a good player let's not feck around about this. He just wants to go to London. It's like the Cesc situation. I always said the way liverpool dug in their heels with Suarez was always going to influence players in the final years of their contracts. Henderson played hardball and now Sterling wants to be off without signing a new contract.
How much has he list out on by not signing a new contract. Must be a śhitload.
25 million is a fair fee either way but if City bid 35 that would still be decent for an english player considering Lallana cost 25 million
At least we are all agreed that the 60 million quoted earlier this season was nonsense

There are plenty gloating about it here.But if they sell and re - invest better they may come out ok.

Nothing okay about this situation at all. They are not selling Ibe, they are selling one of their best players and he is only 20. Terrible for the image of the club and handicaps them in the transfer market.
It's sends a wrong message throughout to the youth players. We already knew liverpool were struggling to sign the best players but this just makes things worse.
Remember liverpool are trying to bring up good young players who can play together for years.
Wenger tried it with foreign youth players and it failed dismally.
At least now we have a young british nucleus and they are not going anywhere

So it appears I called it correctly when I said Rodgers tried to bully Sterling in to signing a new contract and that the club have let him down by leaking contract figures.

It's sterling representatives leaking all this stuff, and calling in un sanctioned interviews.
They want sterling to make as many moves as possible in his career. He wants shut of them and get someone who will keep his name out of negative headlines.
