Carragher on Sterling: "I'd be embarrassed to walk into training tomorrow & show my face to everyone; even the lady on the reception." #LFC
spot on
Shanks would have him by the ear and kicked him out of Anfield ages ago. His attitude has stunk Anfield out for long enough. I'm fed up of seeing his stupid gurning scowl since the turn of the year.
He's best leaving for Barca if they will have him. About the only time he really looked something was off the back of a really great player.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Barcelona wouldnt touch him with a bargepole. He's just atypical of a lot of these young players who think they're billy big balls. Great player no doubt but I have little respect for him.

So how much do Liverpool fans want Liverpool to sell Sterling for? What kinda figures we talking about?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I've no idea to be honest. In reality, a decent 20 year old English player is probably worth no more than 20m. But we don't want to sell him, and he has two years left. We shouldn't accept less than 30m with add ons....
----------------------------------------------------------------------
20m sounds about par. Will likely be closer to 30m though. Still quite a lot for someone who has only had one "good" season if you can call it that. It would be like selling Kane for 30m. There's stil some element of the unknown with both Sterling and Kane yet. Sterling hasnt done it in his 2nd season. Kane has next season to prove himself . Will be harder.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think this is why Liverpool fans are so peed off with him. He hasn't proved himself, yet thinks he's too good for the club, despite doing nothing to help us win anything when he's had the golden opportunity to do so. Basically, he's been no better than anyone else at the club.

As far as young English players go, Sterling isn't worthy enough to lick a stud on Kane's boot.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'd give it 12 months before getting too côcky
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think we can all agree Kane has a far better attitude, and has shown a lot more application and quality on the pitch so far. My money would be on him having the better career personally.

Agreed, he's going to score a sackful at Man Utd next season
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hope so. I was disappointed with our goalless performance there this season.

Hey it's Sterling you should be taking it out on here!
Maybe I have a different definition of attitude from everybody else. Sterling is one of the most hardworking players in the premier league. Maybe people are talking about his attitude to liverpool football club, not his attitude on the pitch. Runs as hard as Kane.
Carragher also needs to stop with the mindless tweets. Doesn't help the club at all. He has sending brainless tweets all season
this whole thing reeks of agent manufactured move
I have no doubt he wants to move to a club with better trophy prospects, but the way things get leaked just seems to be deliberate shiite stirring.

Carragher implied on MNF that he knows more than most about what has gone on with the Sterling saga as he works in the media and he's been hearing things. He's blamed Sterling's side for starting the leaks to the media last year.

How would Jamie feel if someone did the same thing to him when he was a player. I just don't get this thing of ex players turned pundits or football experts trying to impose their opinion on current professional footballers.
Does Carragher also advise him on which brand of beer he must drink. It's pathetic really.
i agree sterling is being a k no bb, but he is still a quality player and will be a big loss for you and a good signing for city or chelsea
Maybe he advises him on his hair products
as far as I know Liverpool haven't leaked anything
we answered questions out in the open in authorised press conferences. The questions only got asked because of the leaks in the first place.
In some ways I feel bad for Raheem. I think he's getting played and doesn't know what to do because hes a kid
