How does it remind you of that? this is our player being talked about.

This reminds me of JW saying "what are they smoking at the emirates"

Our terms will apply end of.

Reminds me of when he said we definitely wouldn't be signing Balotelli.

Rodgers is acting as if he as any say in the matter

What?

Him giving his expectation is like that is it?

Just shhhh

I like Liverpool's stance on this. He signed a contract, make him honour it.

I'm sorry that's a totally different sit Shorty!

Very important stance and a message to the other young players. Get a better agent.

Good pint ARE, Sterling isn't currently good enough to act the way he has been acting and by the sound of the statement released by his agent, most of it isn't coming from sterling

What else does anyone expect Rodgers to say? He's not going to come out and say he's for sake. That would weaken liverpool a stance.

The situation remains the same. He wants out. He'll likely leave. Can't see FSG turning down big $$$.

I wouldn't be the least but surprised if he's played his last game for us.

there has been a massive difference with how the two have been handled though.

De Gea and his agent have kept quiet, whereas sterling and his agent have been highly unprofessional.

As opposed to the professional way Liverpool leaked it to the press that a 20 year old refused to accept £100,000 a week

posted on 22/5/15

When was the last time a top quality player was forced to sit out the remainder of his contract?

The idea that the club would purposely lose millions just to set a principle, is absurd.

posted on 22/5/15

It wasn't leaked. He was asked a question and answered it.

Utd offered DDG a contract didn't they? How do I know this?

posted on 22/5/15

Of course it was leaked by LFC. It's standard.

Just a generic response really, nothing groundbreaking. He'll be sold if the right offer comes along.

Van Gaal has said plenty about DDG next season prospects on a weekly basis. Are these Mancs born yesterday

Which mancs have said otherwise?

You've changed your tune, you're always on about us not having any top quality players.

Now you're saying for rodgers to keep a top quality player for a further two years is absurd

Redinhead.

No. I'm saying the idea that ANY club would let the contract of one of their top assets dwindle, is absurd.

I prefer 'leaks' that happen in front of cameras

It's so sneaky like

kind of like hiding in plain sight

"ooo did he just say that?"
"no idea, it's buried in that infernal video contraption, we'll never see it again now "

Massive amount of leaks today at the press conferences. Something should be done!

Under the Webster rule, Sterling can buy out the remainder of his contract at Xmas and leave in the January window. Because Liverpool currently pay him peanuts, it will cost him peanuts to do this. Pretty funny.

Don't think it ever happened, but would be pretty funny, especially if he signs for utd.
