Watched Captain Fantastic over the weekend. No it's not a superhero movie. Reminded me of Little Miss Sunshine a bit, very decent watch.

Seen plenty raving about Mr Robot on here. Afraid I've just binned it after 5 episodes. Just couldn't get into it, very disjointed IMO.

In fairness that's kind of the point of it. It does all come together without giving too much away.

Spot on. There are so many sub plots and they all come together. Like I said before the writers are playing with you.

Kash on your advice I'm pushing on with season 2 and it's getting better.

I quite enjoy it, but seems to go on forever!

Watched The Bounty yesterday. Fairly old film about a mutiny on the HMS Bounty in the Pacific ocean in the 1700's. Good but not quite as enjoyable as Master and Commander. Wish they'd make a sequel to that.

Remember going to the cinema when Master and Commander came out and thought it was terrible, so so boring. I was a stupid 14 year old, and probably would have preferred American Pie.

Great film having watched it again, as you say a sequel would be nice

Starting series 3 of Vikings tonight.

Can't believe I haven't even started Vikings. Or Walking Dead

Started Daredevil the other day, only a couple of episodes in but I'm liking what I've seen so far

Watched the whole lot of Stranger Things last weekend for a break from my current watches, enjoyed it, some good acting from the little ones.

Vikings is ace. That's one thing 4rza has got spot on. Prefer it to GOT.

Season 4 of Braquo starts on Fox this week. This is really a really good, gritty French police drama if you've not seen it. Last ever series.....

One to many 'really's' there

I've heard much more mixed reports about Braquo, apparently there's a much better Police drama (also in French) Spiral (got the boxset of that for my birthday some 8 months back but haven't actually got round to watching it yet ) there's just so much to watch out there

Btw, another recent addition to Netflix, the Last Kingdom, is that any good?

Going to watch Arrival tonight at the cinema,looking forward to it as I usually enjoy that type of film.

I really enjoyed Last Kingdom, best way I would describe it is "Vikings Lite". Im very interested in the next season. Also another one I noticed added recently that I think is worth a watch is the Expanse
