Watched War Dogs last night and have to say it was average at best.

Lord of War (Nicolas Cage) was a much better movie.

Yeah Lord of War was better. Still found War Dogs entertaining although admittedly there wasn't anything original that we hadn't already seen in movies like Lord of War.

So after all that's been said in here I watched 2 seasons of the walking dead. Not my kind of show I thought but despite some slow bits got hooked.

Can see me getting bored soon enough with the formula but good stuff so far.

I just dont get the hype

First few seasons were great imo. Gone on too long though, and should have finished several seasons ago. Saying that, the new season has started very well, with a much needed shake up.

Yeah it takes some persevering with TWD, I only watched it all cos i got into it on about season 5 and was able to binge watch it in one go, mixed with saving to move abroad meaning I was staying in more watching TV & films.

It's good again now but I couldn't imagine having to watch some of those episodes in the middle one a week

Finished the first season of Daredevil last night, have to say given all the rave reviews I'd heard I was left really disappointed

Acting was decent, I liked Charlie Cox and thought Vincent D'Onofrio was very well cast

Okay, skip this next part if you haven't seen it and don't want spoilers

For me though the writing was well off. Really lacked an overall direction imo. For instance, what was Fisk's masterplan? All you heard was talk of re-building the City, fine but care to elaborate on that?

Think they could have delved more into Fisk's backstory too. Thought the episode where it delved into his abusive childhood was well done but I'd have liked to know more after that, particularly what happened after he'd killed his father

Thought there were some good individual episodes but overall this season was something of a letdown. 6.5 out of 10, thought Jessica Jones was so much better

I cant stand Blindspot and the rest of the generic crap of that ilk. I am usually unable to make it through two episodes

It's David Duchovny. He's a cop in 60's America, and it cover the Mansen story and things like civil rights, sexism in the police etc. Pretty gritty in parts.

Just seen War Dogs. Good film, true story too.

Couldn't get into Westworld. Watched the first 3 episodes and it didn't seem to go anywhere...

Have to admit I started the first episode of Aquarius but didn't carry on with it as wasn't entirely convinced. Might give it another go although I've got a lot of shows to get through first.

It's a low budget 80's John Carpenter sci-fi movie. Don't want to give too much away plotwise but it's worth a watch if you like your conspiracy theories, albeit with some fairly terrible special effects.

It is a slow burner, but gets better if you stick with it.
