Balmy, its not far off a 9.. i may review score once i see it for the 10th time! and well it's all about opinion right, so in this case, the music doesn't really sit well in most parts of the movie, nothing really stands out.
so it loses a mark. if ever a title crawl was needed, it was for this film. The casual viewer might get a bit lost. the Title intro is appalling for SW Standards.
The Cold opening i'm fine with.
And the Editing is rushed in places.... the standard for a Blockbuster pic for me is Jaws/Raiders.
all the boxes you tick.
So in the grand scheme of things, Rogue One with an 8 score, means its really good, despite its flaws.

This is saving private Ryan meets a new hope, it's dark and we see some interesting takes on moral positions.

Surely nowhere near as gruesome/violent as Saving Private Ryan ? I'm thinking that opening scene on the beach.

You'd be surprised. As far as any SW movie goes this is darker than all of them put together and then some

If you think that's amazing you're gonna love the second half. 7-10 is prob the best TV I've watched this year

Yeah Busby the last 3 or 4 episodes of the series are great, they way it wraps everything together and makes you think is great, brilliant TV.

In for a treat if you enjoyed the first 6 that much
