Arrival was really good last night, enjoyed it.

Heard a few utters of people at the end that didn't, labeling it as boring, I presume they read the premise and expected some kind of Independence Day 3 or something.

Last Kingdom definitely sounds worth a watch then if it's anything like Vikings. Don't know much about the Expanse although will put in the to watch list if you're recommending it.

Arrival sounds good then, don't think I'll be dragging my ass to the cinema to watch it though. Might do for Doctor Strange though.

Preferred it to Doctor Strange, but superhero movies aren't usually top of my list personally. Was entertaining for sure, if a little similar to others.

Doctor Strange is well worth a watch, decently acted and they don't go overboard on the cgi which is excellent btw

And Doctor Strange was well worth going to watch at the cinema then ? Looks very Inception-esque with a bit of Batman Begins thrown in or is that a bit of a simplification?

Finally watched Star Trek Beyond last night. Entertaining but not quite as good as the first two. Well worth a watch though if you're a Trekkie.

Looking forward to the next movie where Chris Hemsworth will reprise his role as Kirk's father. Will surely involve time travel.

Worth a watch for sure, especially if the Marvel/super hero genre is one of your preferences, it was certainly one of their better films

The effects looked great at the cinema, I wouldn't say it it was hard to follow or likened to Inception to be honest, although it may look like that on the trailer.

War Dogs is very well worth a watch. Not as good as something like Wolf of Wall Street but still very entertaining.

That the one with Jonah Hill in? Was wanting to see that but never got chance at the cinema. He looks massive in it too

Started watching the Goldbergs, not the single funniest thing I've ever seen but still very watchable. Like the mother and the elder brother

Hell or High Water was brilliant yes.

Watched both 71' and The Wolfpack today, I highly recommend both.

71' is set in Belfast during the troubles and focuses on a young soldier of the British Army. .

The Wolfpack is unlike anything I've ever seen, a fascinating documentary following six brothers home schooled an almost exclusively raised inside their New York apartment. They live out their lives by recreating their favourite films and eventually seek life outside what they know.

It won't be for everyone, it is certainly quirky but not in the painfully cringe worthy you might associate with quirky, "whimsical" films can suck a fat one.
