A shout out for Homicide Life on the Street.
Brilliant Brilliant. High calibre stuff.

Will give it a try then sometime although I'm not as keen on older TV series. I can happily watch older movies no problem though.
Maybe TV shows don't age as well as movies in general.
To be honest I'm more interested in True Detective.
Going to wait for season 2 to end so that I can binge watch it
Same here with True Detective and Hannibal too
Homicide is a great watch for sure regardless of its age.

Ever watched 'The Corner' by David Simon too? Finished watching the other week and it was as brilliant as it was heartbreaking as all other David Simon's work are.
Hope Hannibal lives up to the hype, I'm going to start it very soon as have been putting it off for ages.
Hannibal is incredible! Takes gore to a whole new level it is actually too much for most. Both seasons have been excellent so far.
I'm not that keen on the gore though. It wasn't the gore that made the various Hannibal Lecter movies really good.
Manhunter and Red Dragon were both very good movies because of the plot and storyline, neither were particularly gorey.
Hannibal Rising wasn't even that gorey from what I remember and that was also excellent.
The storyline is amazing too, not just the gore. I never watched the movies though.
In the news today Batman getting a divorce.

Alfred cheated on him?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah he was caught giving Robin a good seeing to.
Speaking of Robin apparently in Dawn of Justice we're getting a female Robin. Kind of makes sense I suppose although still not sure about the need for Robin, seems an outdated character.
Would prefer to see Nightwing introduced, that's a character we need to see more of on the big screen, or even on the small screen come to think of it.

Nightwing is robin though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
One of the versions of Robin originally and an upgraded and more contemporary version that pretty much decided to go his own way.
There are a few different Robins in history of the Batman comics, one of them was infamously killed by the Joker.
Nightwing isn't a sidekick, more of an independent character that helps out when needed. I'd like to see him included when they do a solo Batman movie
Anyone going to watch Terminator Genysis this weekend ?
Just checked out the reviews and wow they are mixed to say the least.
Shame as I was really getting my hopes up hight after James Cameron's recent endorsement of the movie as a worthy sequel to his own T2.
next movie night for me will be entourage...once ive finished with the series box set.....!!!!
ah mate...forget about it....me and miss J8 are hooked...watching like...5/6/7 eps a night.

Very well.
Entourage is a great show, you must watch it
Not sure how many Family Guy fans here but anyone seen the Family Guy/Simpsons crossover episode?
The Griffin family wind up in Springfield and meet the Simpsons. Was quite weird to see being such a big fan of both shows over the years albeit a much less bigger Simpsons fan these days.
