Yeah apparently the director of the Fantastic Four wanted to do a very dark body horror movies imitate to the fly, after he started filming the producers changed their minds and wanted to make it into a light and breezy avengers type movie which caused the director to sulk and turn up wasted on set and be horrible to the cast. Fox did loads of reshooting without telling him after they originally wrapped up shooting which can be noticed by Sue Storm wearing a really obvious wig in a lot of scenes
---------------------------
Wow, what a mess.
Surely a clear vision of what sort of movie it was going to be was decided before filming. Apparently not.
Well Bond went into production without knowing how to end it...
i find it amazing cos Eon only make Bond, what once every 2/3 years or so. how on earth does that happen?!?!
and then to say 'we've started filming and the film will be out in cinemas in 11 months time', while still figuring it out.... amazing.
Reports thus far stating, everyones happy....

now the flip side to this is of course Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Started filming in 2014 to release this summer.
Finished Filming in November i think.. then said the Film is coming out in 2016 instead.
Thats long post-production... it had better be near flawless!!
How can this fail?! Can't wait!!

OK I am startinf to admit that I am an addict of The Wire. Been getting urges to watch it for a 4th time!
Saw an interview of David Simon with Obama the other day talking about the themes tackled on the show. Just shows how silly the people who call it a cop show are really.

Haha so true
The mors you actually watch it the less significant the cop side of it becomes. I have watched three times and I don't think I've peeled all the layers yet.

Yeah but I think better to make sure they get it right than to rush it out. It's actually coming out in March next year so only seven months to wait

now THATS gonna be a MOVIE
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah I think that's not totally uncommon. Apparently they were still writing series 1 of Daredevil as they were filming it and that turned out really great.
Maybe there's something to be said for that approach.
Ah crap I just replied to the wrong comment. My last comment was meant to be a reply to how they hadn't written the end of Spectre before they started shooting it
oh yeah, its common practice in TV. cos they never know if they are gonna be renewed, so often they'll have half the series locked in, and once green lit, they go hell for leather with the rest of the story arc.
Movies always have re-writes to some degree...
i just found it amazing they didn't have an ending...
you know, there's a murmur, that critics are waiting for the Bond 3rd act to drop and see if it ruins the film. ala Die Hard with a Vengeance ....
and a rumoured £300 Million budget!!?!
Any Animation bods out there.... like 'The night before xmas'... well the Batman Director is at it again.
no not Tim Burton...

I hope Spectre is good. We haven't had a really good Bond movie since Casino Royale which was a decade ago.
Speaking of Bond, anyone heard anything about Man from Uncle ?

Just had a quick look and some pretty positive reviews for Man from Uncle. Looks fun. Think I might get my ass to the cinema for this one.

Yeah that's true. I've got time for Guy Ritchie though. Usually enjoy most of his movies personally.

Yeah Revolver was unbelievably bad. Tarantino made that abomination a few years back though and he was forgiven.
Ritchie's made more good movies than poor movies in fairness.
