watched Casino Royale again last night...utterly brilliant...I never tire of watching that

Yeah brilliant movie. I'm not a big fan of Quantum or Skyfall though despite the hype. Hopefully Spectre is somewhere near as good as Casino Royale.

I never got the hype with Skyfall. It wasn't a bad Bond movie by any means but I remember walking out of the cinema thinking is that it?

I agree that Quantum is underrated while Skyfall is overrated. I didn't think that Skyfall was that much better Quantum in fact.

I thought I was alone in thinking Skyfall was not nearly as good as teh hype.

I actually thought it was the worst DC Bond. It all felt oddly set out and cheap to me. Not a terrible filmk, just a very average one.

I hope the new one is better thought out.

DC ones are the only ones i've really watched and certainly enjoyed.....

old bonds are all very much of their time...as you'd expect, and as such you need to see them for what they are.
That said there are some gems...Live & let Die & the Man with the Golden Gun are good...as are Goldfinger and from Russia with Love

Even the Dalton ones are ok Licence to Kill being the better one

DC is head and shoulders above all for me though...here's hoping the new one is great

No my friend you're certainly not alone there. I think the hype had a lot to do with the London Olympics and that general moment in time.

As a standalone Bond movie it has it's moments but wasn't anywhere near the high standards of Casino Royale.

I really hope Spectre is good because DC is a great Bond. Possibly the best one yet and with the exception of Casino Royale he hasn't been in any other really good Bond movies.

Lads you wanted me to remove the likes of Spazzle and TCP because of the wumming and silly behaviour which I did, but don't think that you're immune as well
