Did anyone see John Wick ? I thought that was better than The Equaliser.

Biggish did you watch that last episode of Daredevil yet?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
yes.....suit at last, no yellow though
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey Biggish, think there have been a few different versions of the DD suit in the comics but isn't the main one plain red ?
Either way the new suit looks like it's meant for business. Think he's going to need it in series 2.
I was hearing that Jason Statham is in talks to play Bullseye although that just brings back bad memories of the terrible movie. Would prefer they went with some other characters

Apart from the amateur special effects work, I thought it was the perfect way for Jax to go out. The only thing I didn't like was how they set up the previous scene to look like the club were going to take him out. That was obviously set up just for the audience, to make it look that way. Normal course of events they wouldn't have bothered with the preamble of putting Jax in to position before shooting Happy in the arm; they would have just shot Happy in the arm and then let Jax escape.
The whole Homeless Woman/Jesus/bread/wine imagery was also a bit forced, but overall I think the way in which Jax died was perfect and suitably emotional, given that his Mother's selfishness and evil streak caused so much death and suffering, eventually leading to her own, and her Son's, death.

Just felt very rushed to me. Nero's character was coming into its own and kind of went backwards.
Just left me feeling short changed tbh.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah I'd agree with the point about Nero. He was such a good character. There was a lot going on in the last season with the pastor and his body...Seemed a bit of a weird way to get August Marks p1ssed off at the club, even if it did relate to his construction business.
I found most seasons to be really entertaining but season 3, mostly set in Ireland, was just downright confusing. I had no ide for that whole season why Jimmy was all of a sudden against SAMCRO.
Would love to see Nero get his own show (maybe based on the Byz-Lats) or have him pop up in the planned prequel.

Spazzle did you know that Scorcese directed the first episode of Boardwalk Empire. ?
Not that I'm a huge fan of the show, watched the first two episodes but it didn't hook me. Maybe I'll try it again at some stage. Heard mixed things though.
Some say brilliant others say boring.

Really liked John Wick, very tarantinoesque type film, one that I have enjoyed recently. Have you seen chappie? Basically short circuit with guns, wasn't the best from the director (still prefer district 9) but pretty good. Also kingsman is pretty good for a laugh.
Another Netflix series I enjoyed was Marco Polo - would suggest the watching if you like the whole Vikings type series

Looking forward to True Detective series 2, hopefully as good as the first series, starts this month

Ah that's a shame if they've watered it down. Maybe trying to appeal to a bigger audience. Doesn't sound too positive Forza
