At the time, it was a fresh and unique take on the genre. It combined genuine horror with comedy and suspense. The cast had a great dynamic and it would have you on the edge of your seat. It also perfectly captured that teen movie vibe that was so popular in the 90s.

I haven't seen it yet, but shortly before the film was released I did watch a pretty good BBC doc on Oppenheimer doc that was available on YT. Dunno if it's still up there, but it was a pretty fascinating story - not surprising they made a film about his life.
