Not a WUM or anything bud but Pro Evo is back man properly back !

The fluidity and freedom of control is there again and if defo feels like (obv doesnt look like or play like) the older Pro Evo's. Last years was the first Pro i bought for a while and i was very suprised. Loads of my mates gave it the usual, then tried it and i promise you that every one of them agreed with me. Pro Evo 2015 is available on PSN for £15 at the moment and is a bargain!

Pro Evo is much better than FIFA this year however, no football game is a patch on the NBA 2K games.

Like the OP, I play a lot of NBA 2K15 (and 2K14 before that) and football games feel inferior to it, to a point where I'm not actually that bothered about getting the 2016 editions of FIFA or Pro Evo but am on the lookout for NBA 2K16.

As football is my first sport, I think this shows the state of football games since FIFA more or less monopolised the market.

I like the realism of FIFA but I have not enjoyed this years.
The scripting is ridiculous.

I know what you mean, I was smashing players left right and centre up until division 3, Then no matter how well I played I couldn't win, My players were hitting the post, Crossbar and missing absolute sitters.

You can see this go for you too, This fella was beating me 2-0 at half time and deservedly so, could have been 5, second half starts and I go on a run from my centre and end up scoring, he kept nicking the ball off me only for it to stay under my players control and I finish it off, I equalised in the 90th minute when Sterling out-jumped John Terry from a corner and scored.

People are going to be pushing for goals more at 45 or 90 mins plus they actually last 3-5 ingame mins because of injury time. Makes sense more goals are scored at that time than any other.

i feel that Pro Evo has the physics back again. Every goal you score seems a lot more "legit" if you know what i mean ie you did all the work, it also still seems there are formulas to the way you play Fifa ... for example i bet the first thing you do when looking for a striker in FIFA is check out his pace ... ie before you look at his finishing !! its just a speed merchant game for me. Ideally we need another competitor to come in and shake things up and force others to get their finger out. Football games have defo been on the least progressive games .. ie the rate that other games have moved on from previous generations ps1/x/box, ps2/ xbox 360 etc.. ie FPS now and then are miles apart as are RPG's etc... but sports games and in particular football games havent moved on anywer near as much IMO

Yeah PES is defo back and apparently for the 2nd year running it has beaten FIFA at e3

I play both and PES 2015 is yards better than FIFA 15. It has its faults, but none of silliness you see in FIFA!!

Everything looks so much more real, as FIFA sometimes resembles an episode of the Simpsons

I played one of tykes tourneys recently against a so called very good called saggy.
I dominated him from start to finish and missed all kinds of sitters, he had one chance in the 90th minute and won the game, ended up winning the tournament too I believe.
Made me so angry

Get better at the game then.

I've had that type of game against Saggy too Greg.

Saggy is very good , he knows how to put away his chances

He knows how to score, doesn't know how to do much else though
Relies on other people missing their sitters by the looks of it

OP have you ever considered that you just aren't good enough to win division 3.

I've won division 3 with 1 loss bats. And no I hadnt considered that, seeing as i've won division 1, in consecutive seasons in every fifa since about 09.

Like I said, I'm no scrub, but I would hold my hands up if the opposition were genuinely better than me.

Breathed a sigh of relief however that people are having similar issues.

dont really agree. To test who is a good player I reckon people should do best of 10 format. Best of 5 atleast. Theres too much room for luck, fluke, scripting, momentum in games otherwise. I also believe that home and away makes a difference.

What stands out for me is how rarely I batter teams.

It used to be that, and I should point out I play a lot, that I'd routinely have big wins in the cups on the old games. I'm talking 7s and 8s no problem. My biggest win in the last game was 18-0.

I never even get close to that now, even against terrible players. Wins of 4 or 5 are about the limit for me now.

This suggests they've deliberately made the game to keep matches tight so that players are rarely out the game and still have a chance. That's the scripting.

It's also a nightmare playing against people who plays ultra defence/PTB.
