I would like Backo to name a worse central defender than Keogh at our club. Alex Pearce? How many times you see him play? Jake Buxton? As much as fault at Wembley as Keogh but given less stick. Shotton? I don't need to explain anything with him. Albentosa? Although I would like to see what a full pre season can do with him I have good feelings about him. So to sum up...we have sat down discussed it...and decided I was right..

I can't comment on Pearce Backo, but Keogh was better than all the others last season. Albentosa was a bigger let down than Dawn French removing her bra.

I find it remarkable that some posters can pretend to make informed comment on a player's ability despite hardly ever or even never seeing them play.

Its getting laughable Spart that people always criticise Keogh but yet leave the "others" alone. I rate Shackell but unless we sign him Keogh remains our best centre back. I think everybody on here would pick Keogh from the squad we have now...some may say "I wouldn't yer know...trust me I wouldn't" but when the pressure is on and its YOUR side going out there they would pick Keogh

Derby have not got 2 Centre backs better than Keogh...therefore...Keogh plays. Id go a bit further and say there is not 1 Centre back at the club better than Keogh but im just making it simple as possible for the lesser knowledgeable of football that Keogh plays.

Keogh is garbage. He's consistently been garbage since he joined and has often been outplayed by Bucko. His kamikaze positioning and rank bad captaincy sees him prone more often than not and, whilst you happy clappers seem to believe 'launching' shows some kind of commitment and bravery, I suggest it underlines exactly why the starey-eyed plastic paddy should be shipped out at the very first opportunity. He took Coventry down and certainly has done his best to negate every effort we make to raise ourselves.
