Where the hell did that come from?
I didn't see that coming..........
Let's hope the Board have got a quality manager in the wings to pick up the baton of positivity there is at the club.
Walsh & Shaky in temp charge.
Bit weird. He probably gave someone a round of fúcks.
"Fundamental Differences" is the statement from the board.
Let the rumour mill start as to what they fell out over.....
Maybe he was the cameraman
Hold yourself together TB they will reinstate him in the morning!!!
Big Sam all day long for me
He was clearly desperate to keep Chris wood
Apparent he was disappointed at the lack of hot food...
Wow - that is a surprise. I think, given the club's transfer activity thus far and the very close of proximity of pre-season, that we can safely say this wasn't exactly planned.
It's got to have been a fairly catastrophic falling out for the club to have taken such drastic action now.
After all, the owners had so many opportunities to legitimately sack Pearson during the season and yet they stood by him time and time again.
Sad though it is, it's very difficult to look past the situation with his son as the only realistically plausible reason for this.
If Pearson strongly opposed the owners' decision to sack James (which the vast majority of fans agreed with) then it's perhaps not so difficult to see how the relationship broke down beyond repair.
Nige wasn't exactly everyone's cup of tea and I'll admit I did struggle to warm to him at times, but there's no doubt that he'll go down as one of the best Leicester managers of recent times.
We have a lot to thank him for - he made some mistakes along the way but ultimately he stabilised the club and built a strong foundation for future success.
Now the owners have got to be extremely careful not to rush into a decision on a new manager. I doubt they've had much time to think about it given the shock nature of Pearson's exit, but we must make sure we get the right man to build on all he's done.
Ridiculous. Really cannot believe this. I hope the board haven't ruined our season before the squad are even back for pre-season.
Cambiasso for player manager?
Can't believe this decision and really hope the owners have a progressive manager lined up an not anyone like Big Sam or Redknapp.
Just when I thought things were sensible, settled and we were a club going places.
Big question - how will the players react??
Fox_14 - I've got to agree with you "Ridiculous" just about sums it up for me as well. We'll have to hope the board haven't ruined next season already - and please don't let it be Allardyce
Goodbye and good luck! I think it is poetic justice......
I remember us being rock bottom for 3 months!
JG, BlackStarr and I wanted him gone! Go to Derby!
Sky reporter putting Dyche forward as a possibility !
How about jimmy Floyd Hasselbiank??
I reckon Dyche would be a decent appointment.
He's a motivator who expects maximum effort similarly to what Pearson did.
I think the worst thing you could do is hire Redknapp who saddled Q.P.R with a squad of overpaid and over the hill oldies.
Hasselbaink is a novice but he built on Rowetts foundations to take them up. Burton isn't too far from Leicester neither so wouldn't have to move too far. Have no idea what kind of manager Jimmy is though to be honest.
These names are making me feel sick.
I I'd take a European coach that I've never heard of over any of the names mentioned so far.
Maybe Klopp wants to cut his holiday short
I remember some years ago a sticker in car rear windows along the lines of:
"It's a great day - just watch someone Fack it up!"
Just when everything seemed to be going well (apart from the Thailand 3), I was looking forward to next season with, for once, more expectation than hope. Now I feel as if the board have piddled on my cornflakes
