nothing wrong with Liverpool management. Our only real problems are not enough money and inability to keep players who shine. And those two things are both really only about money.

Don't agree
Rodgers had no plan B in place for games where you're high energy game didn't work
Very good article.
Has your account been hacked?
As it stands for me my opinion remains the same as it has all summer
1. Chelsea
2. City/Arsenal
3. Arsenal/City
4. United
Think we'll only retain it by 3-4 points this season though and will go on until May. Reckon we'll retain it, can't see us doing 3 in a row next season though.
United have bought very well but problem is they've got CL this season which will affect them playing two games a week again so reckon it will take them one more season to get in the swing of things before mounting a serious league challenge.
City getting KDB would probably change my opinion though and i'd be a lot more nervous
Looey needed injuries to find his best team last season.
With a bigger squad he'll need it again trying to keep them all happy

I was bored of reading nonsense petty articles
Thought we'd have a debate for a change
I actually think Arsenal could put a serious challenge in, this season. Cech will win them another 6-9 points and they look like they are about to blow a big sum on a striker. Don't underestimate them.
Your Arsenal comment is ballacks. I'm far from his biggest fan, but to suggest Wenger can't win the title irrespective of his squad is rubbish. You think Pellegrini is any better than he is?
We're going to win it
In all seriousness though I think it could be any 1 from 3 (Chelsea, City & Utd) and most likely will see Chelsea retaining.
I agree with Paul on Arsenal. Wenger is finished at the very top. He'll never finish above Mourinho in my opinion.
1. Chelsea
2. Utd / City
3. City / Utd
4. Arsenal
I called last season's top 4 spot on. Let's see if I can again.
Just don't see it with Arsenal
Giroud and Welbeck clearly won't score the goals to win the league and for some reason Wenger refuses to bring in a quality DM which they desperately need
The only reason Arsenal won't win it, is their mentality. Time and time again we see them falter and flatter to deceive when it matters the most.
Agree with United, need another CB, maybe another ST. Think we'll get at least one, maybe both.
Chelsea and City will be there or thereabouts again as usual.
Arsenal could and should make a proper title challenge this season.
They have a top manager, they just lacked the players for years due to the stadium rebuild.
Arsenal need a striker badly. If they buy big there, it could be a great season for them.
Chelsea have surprised me. Will they fall into the trap we did last season and not improve the squad again once they've won the PL? I would suggest they probably will, but they are leaving it late.
Our signings, as we know, were on the whole poor. Whether the excuse of FFP was the reason, I don't know. I agree, Mangala will definitely improve this season, but only of Kompany gets his form back and as you mentioned, we buy a top class LB, or one who's significantly more defensive minded than the 2 we have. If not, I can't see the problems being addressed, unless Delph is the answers to the DFM problem of Fernando.
If Fernandinho can recapture his first season form, he'll easily help Delph in this area.
Sterling will improve our directness that Navas lacks. Be interesting with injuries whether he tries Navas on the right and Sterling on the left, with Bony up top, especially if Aguero takes his time to get up to speed.
It's a big season for Yaya and Nasri. Still unsure whether we've already seen the best of Yaya and he should have been moved on. Nasri looked sharp against Melbourne, but he needs consistency and with the possibility of De Bruyne coming in, his chances may be limited.
Another top striker for me. Get rid of Dzeko and Jovetic - both have contributed little to team over the past 2 seasons and will be 3rd/4th possibly 5th choice strikers if Kelechi gets into the squad.
As for United, I agree. I think if they can get a top class CB (Ramos) and another striker, they could easily be the team to beat this season. They've recruited really well and added pace and energy which they lacked last season, so it's going to be interesting.
Arsenal. Maybe I'm a closet Arsenal fan, because every season I think "this could be their season" - or does that make me a closet LFC fan?
However, I do honestly think they'll be there or there about's this season come March/April.
Gonna be interesting this season.

An excuse lapped up by the arsenal fans
They had a far better side than the one Ferguson won his last title with. It's about bottle and as a club they fall short constantly
That's down to Wenger,no one else
I don't get why everyone keeps saying Arsenal will do well...
It has been said time and time again, and every year they slip off around Feb/March time. They just don't have the mentality, or the players. Still lacking in CB, DM and ST I feel.
Coquelin is fully deserving of his opportunity as our main DM, for now. He needs able back-up, but he mixed it with the very best last season.
Striker-wise, there aren't many top class strikers available. Simple as that really. Whilst we're in a position to fork out big sums now, Wenger won't just run around like it's Supermarket Sweep.
Wenger finishing above Mourinho? Hahahaha don't make me laugh.
Jose owns Wenger.
Arsenal fans will go into overdrive when they manage to beat us in the charity shield next week in extra time / penalties though without taking any notice of the fact we've lost about 8 out of 10 charity shields
I think Liverpool will surprise a few people this year. They've lost Sterling but have addressed some of the biggest weaknesses in their squad.
I don't think they'll win it, but I can definitely see them being up there
Liverpool aren't strong enough to challenge and will need a new management team in place before they can do so.
-----------------------------------
Everyone said that the season before last also.
The manager has already proved he can challenge. It's all about whether new signings click right away or not. Doubtful but it could happen.
Liverpool addressed a load of gaps last year too. Changing too much too quickly two years in a row is a big risk.
Not saying it won't pay off, but Rogers won't get many more chances.
Chelsea will win it cos they have the best manager, first XI, and injury record.
Not sure why Utd are getting so much hype, their defence is still a load of shít, their midfield is decent and Rooney is past it. They'll regret letting go of Di Maria.
City I can't tell with tbh, I'll have to wait and see.
