Even the bookies hate you Hafi

Think they will be though. The bookies always go on the previous season. Is it objective? Not for me.

If I was a bookie, it'd be as follows as of now:

Chelsea - 9/4
City - 11/4
United - 11/4
Arsenal - 4/1
Soton - 20/1
Spurs - 25/1
Bournemouth - 100/1
LFC - 5000/1.

People forget we were behind Liverpool Arsenal Tottenham even Everton after 10 games.

I think this season is going to be the most interesting season to date. I can there being a lot of shocks this year as there will be no walkovers. Even the teams who have came up this year are going to be pretty strong.

If Man Utd matched game 10-32 points per game average we would have finished with 90 points and most of those games we played against top 7 sides.

I think you had a decent end to the season and when LVG stopped dic^king around with the team, you looked more settled and played more attacking football.

I think it's folly to allow ADM to move. If you can keep him happy (can't believe it's just down to some burglary), he'd no doubt have a far better season for you.

In fact, I'd go as far as to say, if we're spending £50m on De Bruyne, then we should go after Di Maria. I thinks he's a top player settling in to a new country and a new league.

With our Argentinian contingent, it may help him further!

****awaits a raft of abuse***

If Liverpool matched the points they got in the games they won in the games they didn't win, they would've finished on 114 points.

Good odds, but I'd tweak them slightly.

Chelsea 10/4 favs (only because they're holders)
City 11/4
Arsenal 11/4
United 10/3

Yeah selling ADM is a mistake from United.

Most Man Utd fans are glad if Di Maria is sold for a lot of the money we spent on him. Lets say we kept him another year, we probably only got £20m for him.

10-4? Think you mean 5-2

I can't see that. You'll be losing close to £15m in one season.

We all know the PL is completely different than other League, whether it's better is up for debate on another thread.

I cannot, under ANY circumstances EVER, see how if you kept him for one more year, you'd only get £20m for him. That to me is impossible.

If you don't want him, come on City, get him signed and get his family settled with Sergio, Zaba and Martin.

If you take last season in isolation, as a barometer of his ability, then you'll lose a player of world class ability - and at a significant loss.

Glad someone else said that. It;s become a little fraught on here, so didn't want to create a Paddy Power odds debate over something that means the same.

I don't think he ever really wanted to come here. He gave it a go for a few games and then thought 'feck this'.

I'm not sure if swapping red for blue would cheer him up much.

The thing is Di Maria probably is 4th choice in our current squad.

Just needed to move out of his Salford flat into the cheshire countryside and he'd have been fine

What? Really? No wonder he wants to leave then.

Is Young, Depay and Januzaj now ahead of him???

Jesus, get him sold then if that's the case - to us.

Changed my odds - United now 20/1.

posted on 26/7/15

Di Maria will be a loss to Utd regardless of whether LVG could get the best out of him or not.

posted on 26/7/15

I'm saying nothing on this.

posted on 26/7/15

You should have seen west brom home game Di Maria came on and couldn't put in a simple cross without it going out of play, LVG couldn't believe it and add the fact his stupid grab on Oliver probably cost us any hope of the fa cup.

Fine. I'm happy for you to bring on Adnan.

It was comedy. Adnan Januzaj is far more talented with both feet.
