Didn't you say that last year haf?
PP give us a break ,I know that I complemented you on the article ,but you've really bought out the hogwash by the bucket load ! You must be laughing your bollox off .
Ruiney yeah last year we had the best record in big games but I didn't expect us to start so bad and end so bad against bottom half teams.
Last year we made far to mant changes late in to August getting rid of lots of players and giving a lot of youth a chance and buying players late in transfer window and getting rid of players late like hernandez and welbeck and getting in falcao wasn't the best way to start a season.
This time we got a balanced squad with players for each position with backups we didn't have last season. Also Carrick hopefully stays fit and doesn't miss first 9 and a half games like last season or last 6 games of the season like last season were we dropped most of our points. We dropped 30 points out of 48 in those 16 games and mainly against teams we should be beating.
Hope Man Utd don't get Lukaku, rather give Januzaj a chance.

Arsenal, winning the title?
You goóns are so silly
Arsenal going a season unbeaten was unanimously laughed off too MUDD.
Personally I don't think we'll win the treble, I don't even think we'll make a title challenge unless we make 2 more signings but stranger things have happened.

You did not go a season unbeaten, you lost more games that season than Utd did in the treble winning season.
You also do not need to go unbeaten to win the league title.

Premier League season obviously...
Nice one ignoring the part where I specifically said we won't be title contenders without improving the squad
I'm sure when Arsenal won the double in '97/98 or '01/02, few of the smug Man U fans predicted it considering their domination of the league at the time. The only title we won which we were perhaps expected to win was the '03/04 season. Few would have expected our challenge in '07/08, or Liverpool's in '08/09 and '13/14. We're not as far off as some mugs here are claiming. You only have to look at our runs in the first half (or even 2/3rds) of the '13/14 season and the 2nd half of the '14/15 season to see the consistency we're very capable of. Both times the worst injury crises in the division destroyed our aspiration when our form was bad. The title winners in both seasons wouldn't have won it with the injuries we had.
If you think we have no chance, you either underrate us, over-estimate yourselves or you're on the wum.

All teams go through a season with injury problems, god knows we've had our fair share last season: Aguero, Kompany, Nasri, Yaya and Bony on ACON duty for 7 weeks, Silva out for 4 weeks.
That's what squads are for. It really can't be an excuse this day and age.

You had nothing close to Arsenal's injuries last season. There was a running joke here at a time when we had an injured 11 that was better than our fit team. There was a time we started a match with a CM of Chambers, Ox and Flamini. Monreal was a regular CB in the 1st half of the season. Our only front 6 players (midfield and attack) who didn't miss at least 2 months of last season were Cazorla and Alexis. Only Newcastle topped us in the Physioroom table. It was even worse the previous season when we topped the same table by a mile. And our form ALWAYS has a massive correlation with the severity of our injury list - and it's often severe. City had injuries, but it was hardly simultaneous to an extent where you could call it a "crisis".
