i think thats fair to a point. LFC fans had finished on high, so i understand where they coming from. but for me, there were a lot of mitigating circumstances...
and so proved the very next season.
i say its tight, but i couldn't be confident how the top 6 will pan out.. except Chelsea will be in top 4 easy.

Well done on that, still you have spent nearly as much as Liverpool to win just as much since fergie packed in
about that blip thing.

How do you work that out. If somebody spends a pound, and then somebody gives them a pound back, they have not spent anything. Liverpool have spent millions more than Spurs since Fergie left to finish behind Spurs. Simple economics. Every company in the world budgets on what they spend and what they get back in.
Tottenham Hotspurs have just released a statement confirming they will also be running this season 👍😂

It's good to have come to a quick conclusion.
Everybody keeps talking as though United have been in decline for ages. Two years ago at this time we were reigning champions.
Moyes sadly failed. LvG came in, bought some successes, some failures, and got us fourth.
He has spent again, I think well, and may spend more. That's fine with me because we can afford it, plus he has shown he is happy to promote if he thinks they are good enough.
I fancy us for top three this season.

Even when you won the league, your squad had been in decline. It was just better than everybody else at the time. It got better last season and I'm sure will get better this season also. I see you in a battle for fourth. Arsenal haven't lost any big players and have Walcott back, whilst a couple of young players have a bit more experience, I feel they can improve big time this season but still see them finishing third. Chelsea are very strong and well balanced and very difficult for the top sides to defeat due to their tactics and personnel in carrying out those tactics. City are strong and just got Sterling who will be massive for them.
The only way I see Liverpool breaking in next season is if our new players hit the ground running straight away and most importantly, Benteke. Spurs haven't improved much in their squad and have made it significantly thinner, so i don't see them being a threat to the top four.
