Watched one of our first pre season games and it was like having Coutinho on the pitch. The problem you'd need to play him the furthest forward of the midfielders and he has a few players ahead of him.

Played Allen's position after Allen went off injured and didn't look out of place. My MOTM..
He's a more classy version of Joe Allen. Far better going forward too. Really like him and Chirivella.
Really hope he breaks through this season. Been very unlucky with injuries.

Nobody.
If you think can henderson Milner coutinho.
Teix ain't up to that.
He'd maybe make a bench... but the bench is competitive too.
Hopefully a couple of good europa games will help him along.

He's not good enough to be starting then is he?
He's not going to displace one of Hendo, Milner or Coutinho in one of the 3 spots. He's a talented player and should be given time on the bench with the possibility of coming on but starting?

I think he's ok to deputise in our midfield for this coming season.
Especially has Allen is fecked.
I'd defo play him ahead of Allen but don't think he's getting infront of Hendo, Milner, Can or Lucas (when a DM I'd needed)
At the age of 22 he needs to be playing regularly and if the chance of a prem loan came up I'd be enclined to give him that.
Bournemouth would be good!

At the age of 22 he needs to be playing regularly and if the chance of a prem loan came up I'd be enclined to give him that.

Bournemouth would be perfect for him. They play a system which he'd fit into and he'd be involved in a load of scraps, which would prepare him well for the league.
I don't think he is good enough and have never really seen it in him. Quite good at a lot of things, doesn't really excel at anything and I can't see who he would get games ahead of.
I'm surprised he is still at the club.
Suso mark 2 for me.
Will have a decent career somewhere, but don't think he will ever be top drawer
would be happy to sell allen and keep tex instead however, i think he is more likely to change a game from the bench, and could replace cout on one of his quiet days.
Looks like a grafter aswell and not afraid to put a tackle in. Hope he gets a good chance this season coming up

I'm trying to work out what our primary starting 11 will be and in terms of the front six and I'm assuming it'll be:
Milner Henderson
Coutinho
Ibe Firmino
Benteke
He has ability but I don't think he will ever impose himself on a game enough to be a regular for us.
Coutinho is light years ahead of him and is only 7 months older.
The best thing for Tex's career IMO would be to move permanently to a Championship club.
I think he would excel and either earn himself a bigger move or get promoted to the Prem.
I am not sure he would get regular starts at a Prem team as it stands so don't really see the point in loaning him out.
I think he might move for a couple of million before the end of August.
