Just knew from the title of this article it would be about us. We will never learn. we are always a write off until international break
Cant see anything at Utd, Stoke we have to win and Leicester and I think its Everton after that which is 50/50. 7 points from our first 4. Standard mid table
----------------------------------------------------------------------
the second game of the season is a must win
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I hate Stoke,
I hate Charlie Adam, sick of them taking points off us
6 points please this year
----------------------------------------------------------------------
ok. but its not a must win is it. its a "would be nice to win"
OP
When will we learn to stop moaning before a ball has been kicked. This is not fantasy football, where you can change entire XI's every season. Spurs have strengthened the weakest part of the team, the defence. And I am more than happy with the business that has been done thus far.
Why do clubs have to go spend £200 million every season buying several new players, and then moaning because most of them are rubbish, and thus the circle starts all over again the following season.
Chronic what's wrong with Hernandez??
Why do people think we only need two options upfront?
You look at the best teams in the world / league and they have 3/4 good options.
Man city: Bony, Aguero, Dzeko (although dzeko is leaving they will replace him)
Liverpool: Benteke, Ings, Sturridge, Borini, Ballotelli, Ferminho (Ok Liverpool have to many strikers )
but you get the point.

Bring in:
Berahino
Bolasie / Yarmolenko
McCarthy / Sissoko
id be happy and content
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You may well get your wish for the majority mate with the exception of Sissoko.
I honestly believe this season will start badly. We get hammered against Madrid and ac or Bayern. I expect us to line up against United in a 5-3-1-1 formation get hammered (by accounts we have been training to use this formation) Poch will be the first manager gone in the league by late october then Jurgen comes in and things will improve.
I have the exact same gut feeling I had under Ramos.
It is what it is though, still be cheering and lets see how we get on.
Spurs have one of the top strikers in the league in Kane, Chelsea also have one of the top strikers in the league in Costa, you don`t see Chelsea making a striker a top priority, so why would Spurs. Some of our supporters live in a Walter Mitty Dreamworld as if top strikers are ten a penny, and they would be prepared to come to WHL just to sit on the bench as backup to Kane if he got injured.

What was pre season like in the 30s Sandy?
I wouldn`t know I was not born then. Ask Grandspur (where is he by the way)
All joking apart, I really don`t see the need for all this ridiculous kneejerk from supporters, who would buy the first player who was dangled in front of them, clueless.

I truly believe this, but we won;t get a striker till either Adey goes or both go.
That's my belief on the matter, we have them both eating up 180k a week (that's a guess)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Good luck with Ade, everything agreed then demands more Bonus payments.
I do not expect even messiah Tim to be able to save us.
Chelsea also have a very worthy option in Remy. Who can play central or wide forward and scores goals.
We have Ade and Soldado who have scored 2 goals between them in 2 seasons
Looks like you don't think Poch will last then mate ?

yeah, but you assured me that jake Livermore was going to become a top class Centre back !!!
none of the above will happen
Hernandez isn't the answer, Bolasie isn't the answer, there isn't a lot of quality available at the moment (particularly strikers) and we learnt our lesson last time as to what happens when you buy average players.
The same article keeps popping up every day - we haven't bought loads of players yet! This isn't football manager.
The defence has been improved
We have sold our deadwood
We have kept our better players
The club WILL BE AWARE that we need a striker and a CM. Now that we have the funds in from the sales, a couple of signings are likely. The club will have targets! It is a shame that the business hasn't all been done by now but there are four weeks left. It's not always straightforward in the real world, and our signings need to be genuine improvements, not bladdy Bolasie.
LLM is ade likely to fall through then, When villa announced the signings of Ayew and Gustede I did think to myself I would be surprised if they then signed Ade as they still have Abonglahor and Kozak.
Also mate anymore info on the incomings?
Hope your feeling doesn't become a reality

WHY? The season has not even started yet? FFS I give up with some of you. Entitled to your opinion of course, but stop being so darn negative. The team looks fine to me, especially with all the youngsters. If this was any other team in the prem, the pundits would be raving about the age of the team, and what a bright future it had.
indeed. actually so far we have had a very good summer, but an amazing summer, but the window isn't shut yet.
1. strengthened the defence, which was first priority
2. shifted the deadwood, which was second priority
and lets not forget the great news about the stadium too!
been a very good summer so far.
just need those 2 or 3 quality additions between now and September to make it an exceptional summer.
Chelsea also have Falcao all three of their options to play the one striker role every fan is referring to.

this. as things stand the team is AT WORSE the same side as we had last year when we came 5th.... apart from loads of those players are a year older and more experienced, and more used to the prem....
and then we have strengthened key areas and got promising kids back from their loans.
some of our fans are just a joke to be honest.

Exactly. Glad some people can take a realistic view on things!!
The two games this week are far more likely to fack us up than not buying a load of new players
Preparation is what's wrong for me, we've focused on creating a brand and playing in America, Australia and now in Germany, it's insane, players are probably jet lagged and training under different climates, constantly on shoots, meet and greets
I would rather we play more games in the UK, with shorter trips to France, Germany. get the team grounded with hard work on the training ground, not being thrown around the world
