I understand that senior players in the WBA dressing room don't even speak to Berahino.
No wonder the lad wants out

Suicide to keep a player that will have less than two years on his contract
Take what you can this summer

You're also out of date with Berahino's contract situation. Are you a football fan?

Our manager is coming out saying kane is " commited to the club and going nowhere" where as your manager is coming out saying " we can't stop if a big bid comes in" and " in football anything can happen" .... Big difference between the 2 scenarios there mate and it just tells me the inevitable is happening with Berahino
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes mate, the inevitable might well happen, but it won't come cheap.
Go back to your sources and ask them to tell you. I'm busy having my dinner just now.

........................................................................
He's still learning. With the right guidance he will be very good.
Tottenham would be a good club for him, Man City would be a disaster imo.
However, currently he's a Baggie with a £20m+ price tag.
Thats football...
10 - 14 Mil + Fazio seems about right.
Would be a good deal for both parties
Heisenberg, I agree not sounding biased but he would be so much better suited at Spurs than city but I don't think levy will cough up and will drag it on and on until the last day so you are probably safe from us. City on the other hand I can see paying over tbe odds.
People need to factor Jeremy Peace in any conversation re Berahino. Jeremy is the original hard-nose.
This is the guy that sent the Chinese packing because they couldn't dot the i's and cross the t's.

cox pace does matter when our only defender with it (Gamboa) isn't fancied, it will always leave us exposed.
Whilst I rate quality first we are crying out for a decent fast defender otherwise we're left vulnerable for any counter attack, especially with a ball over the top.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I was talking about centre backs PP. I agree that we need pacey full backs but when you sit deep pacey centre backs aren't vital.

JH it has been our biggest problem defensively for multiple seasons and as stated above a simple ball over the top or through our defence and we're completely exposed.
It doesn't have to be a cb, it could be a full back we just desperately need inequality fairly quick player to cover.
It would mean we can push up the pitch a bit more, I'd rather have a defence that is perfectly balanced both technically, on the deck, in the air and physically.
Sterling tore us a new one on the counter and every team now has a player capable of just leaving a defence in his dust so a quicker defence/defender is starting to become a major aspect.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Again, how do you play a ball over the top of our defence if they're lying deep. It's all down to what tactics we use and how we set up the defence. As JH rightly says, we've done very well without pacey centre backs so why change a winning formula? Also, pacey centre backs are few and far between and, as a result, are very expensive.
Give me a couple of GMac types and a couple of fast full backs anytime.
If you are playing a 442 or 4411 variant, with fullbacks who help your centre backs, and have a partner for him that is a little nimbler in the deck he will be a good signing for you. He isn't the quickest on the turn and struggles if caught backpedalling, but is pretty physical, a good header of the ball and does Nick a ball played in front of him.
If you are playing with your fullbacks pushed on he is a disaster waiting to happen . If a player with any pace can isolate him he looks like an absolute oaf
Cox are you actually mentally challenged or are you putting it on? I clearly pointed out how the ball can go over the top but lets go through the basics if we must.
Team goes forward so midfielders push up as do the defence usually to the half way line or centre circle. Other team wins ball back, play the ball into the space behind said defence and in front of goalkeeper either through the air or on the deck.
That is how it works, hopefully you can refer back to this during our next match when you get confused

Fazio is an absolute donkey. He's good in the air when the ball is aimed at his head, but he is terrible if he needs to judge the flight of it or win a header against an opposing player. £6m will do nicely....
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You're definitely keeping him then.

Why do we need pace.?
We kept the 3rd most clean sheets in the league last season with the slowest defence in the league.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, ok JH, we don't need pace. Let's just stick with the slowest defence in the Premier League.
