Why is this crap on our board?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Seems that Superb has his nose out of joint because Chelsea got beat and people are questioning Mourinho.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What does he expect, hey just got spanked by City, should have been 4-5, Swansea should have beaten them too but for a lucky deflection.

Jose is having a bad time of it, he cracked last week, which is strange first game of the season.

Of course Jose is a very good manager. But he has faults as all managers do. The very best managers seem to think it is weak to admit that they have made mistakes - if SAF lost a game to Liverpool he would never give them credit, and I think Jose is the same with the likes of City and Arsenal.

More often than not top managers make the right decisions, but more often than not when things don't go their way, they come out with some questionable statements, rather than admit they have made errors.

People say you should learn from your mistakes, but managers at the top end of the game seem loathe to admit to them.

Fair post.

Have you answered my question yet ?

Yes I have. With my first post on this thread.

You're only as good as your last game.

And in that's game, Joses team got spanked, tactically, physically and psychologically.

I don't think you have got that one right. SAF often gave credit when we were beaten.

Guardiola is the best. Jose is a very good manager but a horrible person and that takes a lot away from his qualities as a manager, and makes it easy for clubs to sack him.

Credit jose for his trophy haul, he's created a few sides with a mentality to win by attrition, pep on the other hand got his team to an almost untouchable level, playing football so good it demoralised the opposition, one of the best sides ever

I'm pretty sure that José has given credit to teams when he's lost games.

Admitedly he didn't do it against City but Ramires had a legitimate goal disallowed and Fernandino should have been sent off for his foul on Costa.

Jose is also weirdly obsessed with Wenger

And yet Pep hasn't been able to recreate that at Bayern.

He took a truly great Bayern side and turned them into just a good side. If anything Bayern appear to have regressed since Pep took over.

Id back them over Chelsea

Jose is the best footy manager in the world.

Ps

Pep is the most overrated manager ever. One trick pony in football management

Mourinho or Guardiola. I prefer the latter, but I get those that would say the former

Right now so would I but that's not saying too much after the start we've had.

Bayern were getting to Finals and winning Champions Leagues before Pep.

Since Pep took over they haven't come close to winning it and were well and truly spanked by Barca last season.

Jose Mourinho, best manager out there without doubt. The man is a born winner, people talking here like Ferguson was a saint. If Mourinho took over after Fergie instead of the clueless one, we would be talking about winning the league this season.

👍

What he did to heynckes Bayern team is a footballing tragedy. That was the best team over last five years imo. It had a perfect balance of pace, power and technique.

Pep systematically dismantled it and introduced tiki taka because that's the only thing he knows. Bayern got progressively weak since he took over

Without the two players that took them to the previous CLs to be fair.

He's done fine with them. Mourinho didn't win it with Real either.

Why do you need acceptance from United fans?

If it were building great teams to watch he is nowhere near the best. In fact he has never built a team.

---------------------------

Define "building a team" though because nobody actually builds an entirely new team from scratch. That's just a myth.

You could easily argue that José "built a team" at Chelsea and a title winning one at that. Even better when you consider it was done with a net spend of practically nothing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
that is a good example, took over a side that finished 5th and by the 2nd season won league and cup for no spend,of course he is one of the best. Should have got the united job instead of moyes because he desperately wanted it and had the balls to take over ferguson.

CL titles with Porto and Inter seal him as one of the ATGs in management.. but he might've peaked already with Inter.. his tenure with real was poor and I get the under-performance vibe with his 2nd go at Chelsea. I was against his return btw.

Oh yeah and rtm is the worst poster on ja
