Witcher 3 and Bloodborne are strong contenders also. But will probably end up being between the two you mentioned.

I hope they do the PC port justice as I'll want to play it at some point. MGS Rising apparently had an excellent port, so hopefully this is held to the same standard.

I haven't played them yet either, just going on the kind of reception they've had across the board

It will be a fight between MGS or Fallout, Bloodbourne and Witcher are good shouts, but the way MGS is being talked about, swings it

Fallout chasing it all the way though.

My vote would be for Pillars of Eternity.

Delboy don't check out too much, a lot of the game has to do with the choices and consequences of making them.

My choices have cost a few lives

Enjoying it so far Amiga?

Dont think its even out of MGS and fallout. Its just fallouts to lose imo. But its great having so many contenders, especially compared with last year that was pretty forgettable for games.

Yes have enjoyed it Gunnersaurus, it is a game that doesn't take itself too seriously, it is a typical 80's horror with teens running and screaming everywhere.

I don't scare easy but a few moments have made me jump, I like these sort of games and the graphics ,animations voice acting are all very good.

This game is not going to have the longevity of witcher, fallout etc, but if you accept for what it is, it as an enjoyable horror romp and theres plenty to recommend it.

I will finish it today, but I will definitely be going back to try and save a few more of the poor sods

What game is that Amiga ?

Until Dawn Greg, it is another game of choices and consequences, a fun teen horror romp.

Not surprised Amiga seeing as you've killed most of them off already

50 quid on the ps store.....
Was hoping to play it tonight but can't be bothered to leave the house and I'm not paying that much.
I'll check amazon

yes I have to say my first run through wasn't the best, one guy did survive though, although he finished with a limp he didnt have at the start.

Yes Greg this game is short, I finished in a day (although I did literally spend all day playing it) so 50 quid is a lot,

I must say though some of the graphics are amazingly realistic, the animation and voice acting are also very well done, adding up to a fun and immersive experience.

I have just started my second play through, my first run through was a bloodbath

It's probably the first game I've seen that'd make me want to get a PS4. Looks really interesting even though I absolutely detest the horror genre.

Detest the horror genre, how, why??

Easily scared?

I get sheet scared by horror games...
That's the whole point of them, I don't detest them though

I just can't get into it - I don't manage the suspension of disbelief. I haven't really found many things that scare me other than jump scares and that's just a primal instinct - I fecking hate jump-scares. I also don't like being scared, it's just not that fun for me, so I don't even enjoy horror movies/games when they do it right.

I quite like the idea of existential horror though, which is why this game seems interesting. The avoidable deaths you'll inevitably cause due to information you could have had, knowing that it's all your fault. I find that a great concept and very immersive as it's actually happening to the player rather than the characters on screen.

(I was trying really hard there to use as few big words as possible to stop myself sounding like a pretentious ass. I'm not sure I succeeded.)
