Staggering by Wenger
Apparently we're the only team in the top 5 leagues in Europe who haven't signed an outfield player. That's absolutely ****ing mental.

I can understand that we couldn't bring in a top striker, as they are usually at big clubs, who don't want to lose them, without perhaps us paying a ridiculously high fee. Plus the player himself is often unwilling to leave.
But I can't see why we couldn't have bought a DM. I find it very hard to believe there is no DM out there who is better than arteta that we could have bought.

Really find it bizarre you haven't gone all out for a quality striker and CB. Wengers transfer policy holds you back so much. Obviously he has addressed the goalkeeping issue but surely he can't be pleased with that alone? You probably have about £100million to spend too.

We don't have to sign an Aguero level striker to improve us. Plenty of strikers who would improve us have been available all summer, Wenger CHOSE not to sign them. So he either thinks Giroud can win us the league/CL or he's a complete loser, I think it's the latter.
Yep, plenty of DMs were available and still are, don't expect him to do anything about it though. If anything happens to Coquelin we'll be playing Arteta and Flamini again

I just don't understand how it's possible the make this many mistakes, the same mistakes every single season. The guy is paid 8m a year...that's the amount we've spent in this transfer window.

Why does he think so highly of our players? Half of them are a bunch of overrated losers, we can improve in all areas. Even teams that win the CL/League make signings every summer, at least 1 or 2 big ones.

Wenger is the same in the transfer market as he is during match day - reactive, not proactive! He waits for problems to arise before addressing them!

Lewandowski, Benzema, Cavani, no....they are not for sale. Why is that so difficult for you to understand.
You cant deal with Bayern over a Lewandowski deal. Talks would end after 5 min. latest. Simple as that.
They would became for sale if we bid what they're worth...
You have to overpay to make them available, it's common sense. Arsene is simply not willing to do that.
Lacazette or Morata may not be in the Aguero or Suarez class yet but isn't Wengers biggest strength making players better?
Henry wasn't the finished article when he arrived so by taking a chance on a younger striker and improving him at Arsenal is well worth paying £20m and making him WC. Surely even Wenger can see this logic? He's done it so many times in the past (pre Emirates) or has he lost it?
Was KDB for sale, GT, was Sterling? Was Delph? Was Kondogbia, was Schneiderlin? Not saying we should've signed all of those, but to me it's rubbish saying you can only sign players who are "up for sale". Every year clubs say "not for sale at any price" and then sell a few weeks later, money talks.
