60% possession and 21 shots will win most games.

Yes
I need a pint having watching that from the most expensive team in the league at home. If that was clough in charge he would have been slated

tinted, he meant.
Not sure what to make of the game.
Burnley had their chances, but it would have been very harsh if we had lost.
Christie had a good game, but boy he's cra p at crosses.
Yman not impressive (or Shakell).
Good work ethic, but that doesn't win games on its own as we have seen tonight.
21 shots? How many did the keeper have to save. Possibly same as Carson. Win most games? On what evidance
Are you still missing McClaren Griff?

Paul Clemence has no charisma. How can he inspire a team?

Mmmm interesting .... bits of the jigsaw puzzle coming together, our central three with Thorne in are looking very solid defensively and nullified Burnley's attacking threat completely. Credit goes to Burnley not sure we'll meet a more determined defence than that, possibly Borough. We did ride our luck though and could have lost that 2-0, whereas Burnley will probably be saying we held them at bay.
Martin, Butterfield and Weimman I thought were all poor going forwards. Russell is looking immense but sometimes taking too many touches. The cynic in me wonders if they let Christie have the ball on the right knowing that they could defend the centre. There were moments where we out moved them and had we a little more synergy which I think will come then we would have probably gone onto win.
I don't think Burnley are as good as they were in their promotion year though.
In context two clean sheets against two of the best teams in the Championship, signs of piecing moves together and I think we're making progress, the important thing is to back these performances against good opposition up with performances against weaker sides.
I think Clement played his cards close to his chest tonight which I think is probably not a bad thing but I'm not sure why Dawkins isn't utilised more and if we're not going to play him our wide men are too direct and predictable. I'm hoping against weaker opposition we can show a bit more dynamism. Think Hendrick is useful coming off the bench.
Bit disappointed we didn't show more in the final third but credit to Burnley they shut up shop and we don't quite have the answers yet....but are getting there methinks.
City till I die.
Will will?

Where did I say, Will will, stress?
Poor (ish) game of few chances. We run out of ideas in the final third. Yman very poor
Missing something mate. Need to spend some money and sign someone who can create. It was crying out for a 2nd forward and he put Hendrick and Hanson on? Negative is the only word. At least McClaren would have risked a point for all 3
