"Wolves spent in the Premier League but the cash surplus after core football expenditure on wages and transfers kept racking up. Over their three years in the Premier League Wolves made post-core surpluses of £65.2 million in this way"
Been following this elsewhere and sounds like Morgan could have done a lot more than he did and we had money left over to spend but didn't.
As I've said all along - if you have one of the lowest turnovers in the league and are one of very few teams that make a profit every year you must be spending less than most.
leave sensitive steve alone
Check-out the first graph. We started between 25th and 30th in the football pyramid when Morgan purchased The Club and 8 years later we are between 25th and 30th.
All that "money", expectation, emotion, energy and all for what! To end up in exactly the same place as he started.
Morgan has left us with and academy and a stand that looks like it was an afterthought and is taking his money from the Compton Park development and running.
Morgan; we were unlucky to have him!
^^^^^^
First he was going all Sunnyish now he's turning into Perton
It's magic you knowwww
That dont work Cinci.
The Ironic thing is I have just bought a house in Perton
I found that an interesting article. Are the figures correct? Seems like the kind of stuff that would be released in the annual accounts? If so, it confirms what many feel about Morgan' reign (that money wasn't focused on right areas) but seems to totally contradict Moxey's stance from last week's press conference (that Wolves have been a constant draw on Morgan' personal finances).
30m went in at the start but nothing else?
kind of how i understood it as well.
