The equaliser at the end just put Scotland out their misery before the inevitable on Sunday anyway.
Thought Forrest had a great game
just a horrible 10 minutes
we score and we think yas, beat Gibraltar an we are in the playoffs
then Ireland score and I think, crap, need Ireland to beat Poland now
then Poland score and its awww shiiite we are out.
The only progress I have seen is in terms of the football we can play some times, it's still not great though and far too often we play the ball into the channels for someone to run on to.
Gordon
Paterson
Martin
I really don't know who else can play there
Robertson
Brown
Armstrong
Forrest
Naismith
Christie
Griffiths
Get the likes of Shinnie, Gauld, Walker, Nicholson and Rhodes in the squad now as well, get them blood in and get them games.
rnr
took on piszczek, a quality full back and gave him a tough time.
Ireland and Poland have a couple of terrific players in there, better than we have.
that's the crux of the matter, they have better players.
RnR, he was very good I thought, as soon as he knew he had the beating of their full back he got at him every time, I think that boy only won the ball twice the whole game.
If he had an overlapping fullback he would have had even more joy.
Also I got the impression when I saw Scotlands team sheet that Strachan was banking on a drasw last night and a win v Gibraltar.
I got the impression he planned on us losing both games.
Surely Griffiths/Rhodes or both should have started and tore into Poland from the off as realistically it was a game you lads had to win?
AsI said before Poland are no great shakes.
That number 8 for Poland is some player.
Strachan deserves another campaign imo
Btw, how depressing would it be for the thousands who have booked and are going to the Gibralter game grim
I thought S.Fletcher also played well last night, couldn't have done much more and held the ball in/won headers better than Griffiths would have, plus scored a peach.

you could play either of them esc
like it or lump it, Griffiths is scoring goals. he finds wee pockets, its not luck he reads the game well.
doesn't do enough for the majority of the game but you could say that about fletcher who doesn't score.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's playing on a poor league against poor defenders . ffs even you own management said it. Look at hooper as an example of that when at celrif compared to moving down south
Rhodes and Naismith are far better players. If we want to WIN games an start qualifying, we need to ditch 1 up and start playing with 2 up. Against Germany at Hampden we looked so much better when we switched from 4-2-3-1 to 4-4-2
I would play Rhodes as well, but doesnt look like Strachan will, he deserves a chance as does Griffiths, I would play both on Sunday
He's playing on a poor league against poor defenders
========
aye Jordan Rhodes is playing against Baresi aye
he has scored v fenerbache and malmo, at a European level.
that counts for something.
by your logic then fletcher is the best shout, he plays against the best defenders
Were Scotland hanging on in the last 10 mins or so?
I had a stream on but was glued to our game so didnt see to much.

Rhodes certainly deserves a chance as does Griffiths.
The problem with Rhodes is having watched him in a few championship games, he doesn't offer himself an awful lot, he tends to come alive around the box but that's it and the way we play wouldn't suit him.
We need to alter something as it's clearly not working, getting Hutton and Whittaker out the team would be a start.
I'm not to be messed with today Murnetti.
You'd have been better playing 5's
we have plenty fullbacks deserving of a chance ahead of those two
Calum Paterson
Ziggy Gordon
Graeme Shinnie
Andrew Robertson
Stephen Hendrie
Craig Forsyth
to name a few off the top of my head
Naw keny it began with a Z, plays for Sevilla, cracking player man.
Keny he mentioned the bad word
Craig Forsyth

Aye normally the centre half's
still a better option than Whittaker, leavbing him out we have some good ones coming through
I thought u meant the guy with the assist for the first. he's good.
