I'm a little bit late to the party but I haven't seen Emergency & I by the Dismemberment Plan mentioned.

Also, Pinkerton was mentioned but not Weezer's Blue album which is a fantastic record.

Charlatans - Tellin' Stories

Met Tim Burgess a few yrs ago. He's a blooy nutter but such a sweet guy

I used to go and watch the Charlatans at the Northwich memorial hall on a Friday night. £1 entry before they were famous.

amazing band. They have outlived all the other so called Manchester bands Oasis, Stone Roses, Happy Mondays etc. They have also made twice as many albums.

A big fan of the band, loved the remix stuff they did with Chemical Brothers. But just not in the same league as James, Stone Roses for me.

Check your head has got to be one of the best albums ever created. It is timeless
