They're back. I'm going seeing them in Manchester in February. Can't wait

Ah really, nice.

They're a bit like Cast, maybe not the first band you'd think of when reminiscing about 90s music but a cracking little band nonetheless.

Forgot The Verve, A Northern Soul, criminally underrated, probably due to the success for Urban Hymns but A New Decade, This Is Music and especially History are as good as anything they've ever done IMO.

In keeping with the OP's slightly abstract choice of a top 7 albums from the 90's, here's my...

Tom Waits 'Mule Variations'
Tricky 'Maxinquaye'
Cat Power 'Moon Pix'
Boards Of Canada 'Music Has The Right To Children'
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds 'Let Love In'
Beastie Boys 'Ill Communication'
Talk Talk 'Laughing Stock'
Sparklehorse 'Vivadixiesubmarinetransmissionplot'
Sonic Youth 'Goo'

..top 9

Fully enforced psyence fiction as a great album. Inventive, and at times beautiful.

Great choice.

Mansun attack of grey pattern was pretty good, probably not up there with the best, but worth a look.
