The table tells a different story.
Loco that is such short sighted single minded view from you. So, the table this season is sufficient for to base judge a manager ? I think your bitterness relates to the fact that the success Jose achieved at Chelsea and you can't wait to see the back of him !!!
Well Pellegrini has won as many trophies as Jose has done during this period. Pellegrini looks like he could be winning another.
Don't talk too much about Jose being the best manager. It upsets the 5 City fans on here.
Pelle's record is no where near Jose's achievement
I've always maintained that the League table doesn't begin to have that much relevance until well into November/December.
Of course it gives a rough guide at this point but really not much more and everything is still hugely subject to change with another seven months of the season still to play for.

Please don't exaggerate the numbers
During tough times is when a managers full capabilities are truly tested. If Mourinho gets the sack then I think we know he's not the complete manager
Is the best manager Jose?
Aye. By Miles Kilometers Furlongs Chains and Leagues!
If Mourinho gets the sack then I think we know he's not the complete manager
------------------------------
Don't think that's a fair statement when you consider that Chelsea have a history of sacking managers, often prematurely or unfairly.
If José is given the season and fails to turn it around then you'd be able to question his managerial pedigree, not after just 10 games when everything seems to be going wrong.
Jose is great at at taking someone else's team, getting a boost of siege mentality team spirit, pumping a jillion quid into an already good side for little more than short term gain, then running away when it all looks like it's teetering on the verge of collapse as he forgot to long term plan and his media antics lose their lustre.

What an utter crap !! Where ever he has been he has been a success at Porto, Inter , Chelsea and Real.
When he took over Chelsea, we didn't look like winning another title !!
He took over Inter and won the CL and won three titles, look where they are now ?
Whilst at Real he broke the Barca domination.
The guy is a winner
He dismantled and wrecked the class side Ranieri left him.
Left Inter on the brink of oblivion with an average aged side of 48
Real was a great achievement - beating Barca is a feat
Again at Chelsea he's got an OAP problem
He's the ultimate 2-3 year interim manager if you don't care about the long term consequences. He'll bag you a major trophy. But is the cost really worth it?
I'd love to see him try and win in a big league without a title favourite side. Roma, Spurs, some German side. Just to put the money / only interits top teams criticism.
Jose's time at Real is actually very underrated. Before José became their manager Real had been an embarrassment in the Champions League for many seasons.
He got them to the CL Semis which they hadn't done in years and if they'd won their penalty shootout against Bayern I'm in no doubt that Real side would have beat us in that 2012 Final in Munich.

I wouldn't call it underrated. His sole aim was to deliver the decima and he failed. Though he did win the Liga by scoring most goals which is impressive. So in a way overall he did a decent job, and to last three seasons at Madrid is an achievement.
He dismantled and wrecked the class side Ranieri left him.
---------------------------------
No, he turned them from a bunch of also rans into a team with a strong winning mentality that won back to back titles.
And how did he dismantle or wreck it ? José added to that team and made them much better.
He's a top class manager no doubt
But from a debate perspective there are valid questions and some worrying patterns that it would be great to see tested from an 'academic' debate perspective.
Is it the just the money and short term siege boost?
can he build a side for the long term?
Could he win with a side that aren't already favourites / 2nd favourites?
I'd love to see those questions tested if only to satisfy curiosity.
Unfortunately, the most likely outcome would be him moving to Bayern to replace Pep and we won't get to find out.

When he took over Chelsea , we weren't the favorite !!
Likewise, at Inter and Real
Compare his record to any managers in the PL and you'll find that...
records count for nothing tbh, fantastic achievements but like you dont win games on paper, you don't motivate with your records
Wonder what peoples mentality would be if we are in 18th around march time

If someone with a record like Jose can't, what are the chances that someone else can motivate this bunch at this moment ?
For example, in yesterday's game , I felt we were unlucky, with the goals that weren't given, any other day could have gone in our favour. PL sides have become more competitive and fine margins makes a huge difference.
