Speedy winger who scores goals is?

we NEED strikers...

we got pratley on a free - lucky for us, he looks pretty good

eagles and mears signed becasue of coyle - again they were cheap.

boyata - not ours

tuncay - not ours (why the hell not, just sign the lad up for gods sake, you chase a player for ages, know we need a striker....and then he comes on loan, so if he does turn out to be REALLY good, his parent club can bump the price up

Ngog - still wary of this not happening, seem to be dithering over terms AGAIN!

player in spain 'cough LOUDLY ' ....bullsh....

NGog is having a medical.

We have first option on Tuncay at £3m, no more no less.

We only had Anelka 18 months, Hierro for a season, Sturridge for 5 months. It's something we can take advantage of without having a transfer fee and let's be honest it's works well for us.

I know they weren't loans Anelka and Hierro but it shows how a short stint from 1 player benefits a club.

Rebel doesn't understand this transfer lark.

Why have no money and so are forced to loan. Like HH says, we have agreed a 3 mil price with Bremen for Tuncay if ee want.

Mears, Eagles and Pratley are all good signings for next to nothing. N'Gog is having a medical.

7 players, Rebel. Seven. That a bloomin' good window considering we have hardly spent a thing.

If Cahill goes, which depends if Spurs sell Kaboul, Bassong, Jenas, Crouch or Palacios (any 2), then I think Garty and Coyle are well placed, both geographically and financially, to make quick signings.

It is squeaky bum time but please be realistic

Speedy winger who scores goals is? David Bentley anyone?

Rebel, do you still stand by the view you expressed when Danny Ward went to Huddersfield, that we are going down?

posted on 31/8/11

I've said this before and I stand by it. Rebel is doing this with the sole intention of attention seeking. That's the whole motive for it.

You'd have to seek guidance from his doctors for the reason.

Rebel calm down lets just see what happens if Cahill goes it seems that we will get a player from Spurs Dos Santos being quoted now on Twitter so maybe something is in the pipeline Spurs need to move a few out and Hutton looks set for Villa with Jenas then Crouch to Sunderland and then they have cash to give us .

I'll take Bentley as part of a Cahill deal but he's a long way from a speedy winger. More of a Matty Taylor type IMO.

Just read an interesting one that Dann is in talks with us not Rovers?
Anyone else seen this story around?

.............

seeing how we played against liverpool....yes!

the way we played against citeh was better, but again, defensive frailties and lack of firepower up front cost us a point.

QPR was a flash in the pan.

if ngog indeed comes, him and tucay need to start scoring and quick, becasue knocking it round the midfield looks good, as it did against liverpool....but the lack of firepower and pace up front makes it pointless.

coyle has proven he has a 'gung-ho' attitude to games, therefore we conceded a lot of golas....so to win or get a point we have to score more goals or the same number of goals as they do...

i fear this is were we will become unstuck.

(that wasnt a football lesson by the way....sorry if it sounded like one)

It didn't. Trust me.

Nope, it definitely didn't sound like a football lesson!

Trying to get this article back on track - Gary Cahill has hit a brick wall in his move to Tottenham - 50/50 apparently..

Also Bentley is going to West Ham...

You sure it just wasn't the media getting Bolton Rovers and Blackburn Wanderers mixed up again?

.....im right, today IS falling apart at the seams....

I don't want Bentley. Did nothing at Birmingham. Seems like a Matt Taylor type to me.

I'm more concerned on getting Ngog in now.

posted on 31/8/11

I don't want us to get Bentley. He can put a decent cross in, but he's a bit too 'Matty Taylor' for me. Is David N'Gog as fast as Anelka?

posted on 31/8/11

Rebel.

If we can afford them within our means, we sign them.

We've maxxed our credit cards out!!

Doubt it.

MT, great minds think alike, eh?

Hopefully this pacy winger will be Bale plus £8m in a swap deal for Cahill.

Bentley has gone to West Ham on a season-long loan.

I remember when Bentley left us saying he wanted champions league football. Now look at him.

Expecting our signings to come late in the day as they depend on other transfers.

I imagine we have nothing left after the N'Gog deal goes through - which it will. I am pretty positive about that.

Pacey wingers? Not sure really, Adam Johnson was touted around on Twitter and Gio do Santos (former Barca and spurs player) is a good shout
